  • you are supposed to rub a tiny bit of jelly between damp hands, then rub them on your body, not the jelly.
I had the same problem, but visited lush, and the super helpful staff gave me a demo!! soo helpful in there!

I was in Braehead earlier with my mum and the lovely SA had reserved 2 £15 bags for us, cos it's about an hours drive.

    I got:
Yuletide giftbox - Mr Butterball, and 100g christmas cake soap - £7.34
White Christmas giftbox - 100g champagne snow showers shower jelly, 100g snowcake soap - £7.34
Best Wishes giftbox - Mr Butterball, 100g christmas kisses bubble bar slice, 100g marzibain bubble bar - £9.74
angels delight soap - so cute in the shape of an angel!
    christmas cake slice soap
    marzibain
    frothy the snowman
    lush pud x 3
    ruby red slippers
Snow showers solid perfume - no likey :o

Where is everyone finding the prices?

Also, ours were all individually wrapped and labelled.

Someone came in after us and they made another bag up for her specifically - think they had a few £10 and £5 bags left though.

With the jelly, I grabbed hold of a little bit and used it to rub over my body like soap- really lathers well.
Put it into a muslin or thin cotton square of fabric and you have an exfoliating scrub.
  • think people are getting the prices from the old lush times that was sent out pre xmas
im not allowed to say what i think so ner!:p
  • Just tried out some of my lush bag.
Would it be a snowman ballistic? Frothed away in the water and had bits which melted through it, got a nice subtle fragrance like white musk? Soooo nice and I'm so tempted to go and get another bag!!!

  • Hi

Went to the middlesborough store today and collected a 15 bag and i'm really pleased i got 4 gift boxes, and 7 bath balls/bubble bars. The lady was talking to my little girl and gave her a baby bath bar.

How do you identify what you have and how to use it. I'm new to lush and have no clue!

Do the bath balls last longer than 1 use?

Does anyone fancy identifying things if i post a pic??

    Cheers

    Shell
  • with some things your best splitting them into chucks so they last longer

bubblegumcola- sounds like a butterball snowman :) i have yet to try one lol

Bath balls are for one use only, but you can break them up, and just use a bit.

I'm sure we can have a go at identifying stuff if you post a pic.

I'm still waiting for mine (with son's gf), but she tells me both bags are full of gift boxes.

While I am waiting, had a lovely Christmas Kisses bath, with a butterball thrown in for good measure, washed with Spice Curls soap sample ( I like this!!!) and a full pamper with Fresh Farmacy, Ocean Salt, an Ayesha face mask (last few dregs of the pot) and Imperialis moisturiser. Don't forget the Buffy too! And dusted myself down with bare Naked Lady.

I'm all Lushed up tonight. I don't use it much generally because I don't want to waste it, but I now have sooo much, I can spoil myself.

    I got a £5 bag today.

I must admit that I don't usually shop there, but I needed a gift for a colleague and I was intrigued by this thread. Plus, I work with a girl who is mad about Lush, so I gave it a go.

I got about 8 or 9 things in my bag, quite a lot I thought, but that may be because (it turns out that) the guy in there used to work with me. I'm not too sure what they all are, but there's a sort of newspaper thingy that he also put in the bag which seems to list everything in it.

I'm going to make up a gift bag or basket and keep a couple of items for myself. I have left the bag in the car boot at the moment because lovely as the smell is, I have a tiny flat and it's a bit overpowering. I get migraines from very heavy scents, so I have to be a bit careful, but there's a couple of things in the bag which seem quite subtle. This is possibly why I haven't shopped at Lush before actually, but this offer is too good to miss and great for a present, so thanks to you all for the heads up.
