I bought a £10 bag from the Birmingham store and was really disappointed. I got 3 Yuletide boxes, a Christmas cake soap and an angel cake soap. I know that's quite a few items, but 4 of the same soap, a different soap and 3 of the same ballistics isn't terribly exciting.0

If you decide that you don't like the jelly (or are impatient to open a different scented one) you can use the jelly in the net as a bath cleaning scrub instead :rotfl:
Maybe Lush should make pretty little netbags for the jellies, if they ever do, you read it here first0 -

When you've finished just hang it up for a few minutes to drip then put the whole thing in a lidded container to stop it drying out, I use a plastic screw top jar that used to have body scrub in it.

Will have to try this Geordie Lass. I love the snowshowers Jelly but end up losing most of it down the plughole !Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
me and dd were chasingh them round the bath tonight, tried the bath bomb one, and the jelly, my dd is now demanding a bubble bath every hour. My fave is still that pink comfeterbar, when its all disloved I stick on the whirlpool bath jets and its the most amazing soft bubbey bath ive ever had and its all pink and smells amazing my oh even came up stairs to see what the smell was...lolPeople who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...
It is much easier to see other people's failings than our own.0 -
Mine was like that that I got from Basingstoke yesterday. At the time I thought it was just because they rushed it as I was there at about 9.30am and they had ran out of £15 bags as they had sold more than expected and were making them as they needed. When I walked in they were just sorting out the 1 person at the counter, behind me came in about 5 other people wanting £15 bags. Dissapointing reading what others have, not sure if it is worth £50, and not sure what alot of the things are or what I should be doing with them.
hiya! I got a £15 bag from Basingstoke today and mine was mainly soap.. so i agree that it was a little disappointing compared to some people on here who got gift boxes etc! Also i got my sis a £10 bag and that was more or less the same as mine with maybe 2/3 items (soaps!) less. However what i would say is if you aren't sure what the products are i would pop back in and ask, as they are REALLY helpful.August: £149/£150
Sept: £200

Thanks for the help with the shower jelly :A , it smells divine so it is a waste for it to slip down the plughole :rotfl: I have recruited the help of the freezer, a tuperware container and a net bag for tomorrow morning :T :rotfl:A dog is for life not just for Christmas.
How about a rescue dog?0 -

My £15 bag from Basingstoke today contained a good selection, total value £60: 6 bath ballistics, 3 Bubble bars, 2 shower jellies, a sparkle bar (shimmy shimmy), 4 soaps (large), 1 shower jelly (the delicious Snow Fairy), and 1 solid facial cleanser. Mostly Christmas products.
I think its totally the luck of the draw. The SA did mention that she didnt really keep count when putting stuff in the bags! Especially the £15 ones.
In the olden days we used to call bath ballistics (minus the fizz!) bath cubes - they came in a box of 6 and usually smelt of lavender and softened the bath water. They were dirt cheap and the sort of gift you gave to the aunt you didn't like.
Now a big one (bath ballistic - 10cm) costs £7.50 at Lush:eek:
Does anyone actually spend that money on a bit of perfumed bicarb?
Love Lush really, but wouldnt buy full price!! CB20
