My mum has just visited the Preston shop and they only have £10 bags left, and not very many of them.

The !!!!!!s. I asked if I could reserve some on Sunday (because I can't get down there till next weekend) and they said they had over 500 and they would last for weeks. Looks like I'm going to miss out now. :(

Anyone been to the Newcastle store?
If so do you think they'll have anything left for Saturday!

    Hi Gemma,
I was in yesterday at 1pm and all they had left were £5 bags. They didn't seem to think they'd get any more stock in either. I got a £15 one earlier in the day but there were no gift boxes in mine. I got quite a good selection, but mine added up to about £40 worth of stuff, rather than £50. Still happy with it though.

I'm off to the MetroCentre this afternoon, so will probably pop in and see what, if anything, is left there.

Has anyone rung customer services yet? Do you spend £15 to get a £15 bag free?

Prob worth giving them a call, maybe they have some in the back and they're only putting them out when they have none on display?

Wouldn't have thought they'd sold almost 500 in just over a day...
  • the website says buy a bag for 5 to get 15 worth of stuff 10 for 35 and 15 for 50 worth of stuff so i'm not sure why the shops are getting confused, nothing on there to say you need to buy other stuff before you get a bag

    I called customer service!

They told me its BUY the bags- your not supposed to get them free!
person on the phone sounded really like " oh no..." so I think if you have had your bags for free- be very very happy- you got a very good deal! the bags are infact supposed to be sold separately!

To be fair orange tiggs this isnt what the website states. Well not the one i'm looking at anyway!

On the home page of lush it says -
    spend £5 get £15 worth
    spend £10 get £35 worth
    spend £15 get £50 worth.

So I guess thats where the confusion may have arisen?

This is what it says now

GRAB BAG OFFER- RUNNING IN STORE

NOW UNTIL THE 1st OF FEBRAURY
Buy a bag for £5 and we'll fill it for you
with £15 worth of Lush goodies.

Spend £10 and get £35 worth, spend £15 and get £50.

But it didn't say that at 2am this morning, when I last looked!! Then it actually showed 3 bags, each with a value on them & it said:

"Spend £5, get £15 worth of lush goodies"
"Spend £10, get £35 worth of Lush goodies" ) like the bottom line above
"Spend £15, get £50 worth of Lush goodies" ) still says

It seems they have changed the wording in the last few hours, obviously to clarify the situation! But Trafford Centre said they'd spoken to H/O Customer Services to check they were doing it correctly - so there must have been a real breakdown in communications! But I'm not complaining! :rotfl:

    S xx
Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:
