i got a couple of £15 grab bags in cardiff and they each had £65 worth in!

i can't remember the names of the gift sets, but there were 6 each with 2 items in value £6-£8 each, one with 3 items in £11, strawberry shower jelly, christmas morning bbs, lush pud, choc santa and a mr butterball.

i also got the new b heart shaped soap, the wash my back soap and the strawberry massage bar which had only just been delivered :) and i got a sniff of some of the new vanilla range. the lotion is still on the back of my hand mmmm

Any idea how many bags they had or if they are likely to run out?

You must have been there when I was there! I was the one browsing for ages looking at the giftboxes with my 2 yr old in her buggy (bribed with Quavers to keep her happy). As I saw it, there is absolutely NO room for complaint - I picked out just over £30 of goods instore AND received 2 of the £50 grabbit bags - that's definitely a bargain!
Well done on your good shop. It's strange though, as I was told that it was £15 for a bag, in fact spent £20 on a £15 bag and £5 bag. Not complaining, as I am happy with what I bought, but would have been even happier if I had also got £20 of other Lush things from the store.

I shopped in the Trafford Centre at about 2pm yesterday, still got the receipt. Hmm very odd.

Mixed reports from Covent Garden- was served yesterday by a lovely guy. Was given the choice of shower or bath. For £15 I had two small boxes, a large box and some other bits. He made it up as he went along. 00Went back today for my mum and they did another £15. I then got a £10 for me again!

Though when I got there this morning, a staff member asked if she could help. I explained what I was after and her tone was quite rude. She said I needed to purchase £15 worth of items to get the bag. I told her quite sheepishly that I didn't want any additional products, that I was just there for the bag. :o She told me to shout because she couldn't hear. She then said 'show me the receipt'. I told her I didn't have it. 'Why'. I told her it was in the Lush bag and was at home. She then asked the other girls to tell her that she was right and they told her she wasn't. It was quite poor service and made me feel pretty sh*tty.

But the other girls were great and made up some fab bags for me. As they were doing them as they go along it is hard to say if there was much left but it looks like there were. They said they were running low on the £10 and £5 bags so they needed to make more up - and it looks like they make the make the £15 as and when.
  • I got a £15 and a £10 in Cardiff yesterday. Really pleased - I got 11 gift sets (all with 2 items in), a load of bath ballistics (Mr Butterballs, Choc Santa, Double Fast Luck, a bubble bar....). Worked out as £95 worth

The only disappointment was that I didn't get any Snow Fairy (my absolute fav!), or any solid perfume. If anyone wants to do a swap let me know ;)

  • Can anyone get onto the Lush forums?

I am a bit annoyed that when I went to get mine, I thought that it was spend £15.00 get a £50.00 bag free. When I got to the till with my two lots of £15.00 spend It was explained to me that you bought the £15.00 bags. I bought my £30 of stuff that was already in my basket AND a £15.00 bag.

Walked away very pleased but also feeling very naughty for spending nearly £50.00.

Now I read that the Trafford centre insist is IS a spend £15.00 get a £50.00 bag free! If that is right, I want a £15.00 refund AND another bag!!:j

Really want to call HO but scared of ruining the fun for Trafford centre shoppers if they are doing it wrong!

The £15 bag has £50 worth of stuff in! I think perhaps some stores are getting confused. The idea I assume was that you spent £15 on the bag and it contained £15 worth of stuff although I love the idea of spend £15 and get an additional £50 worth free. God I wish we were closer to the Trafford centre

Hmm yes they are two different offers aren't they- well I have emailed lush customer service to confirm and if they say its that you have to spend £15 in store first to get a £50 grab bag I will call my Lush store and take the email down as proof to get my £30 worth of products LOL Just going to see what they say first.

I'd be interested if you could post back with what happens with this- similar thing happened to me: though the store and SAs were lovely, I did have to buy the bag rather then it being free with what I bought. Even shows on the reciept!

I went to the Trafford Centre last night, was only a £5 bag left and no mention of having to spend any money to get the bag free- maybe only the daytime staff got confused with the offer.

They did say they are getting more stock in on Wednesday and Saturday for the bags.
