I have to say I agree about the Golden Groves. We went back a couple of months ago and the food was less than average, with much less choice of veg etc The service was really terrible to the point of rudeness and the atmosphere wasn't at as welcoming as it had been on our earlier visit. The general cleanliness standards had dropped too. Even though it was very quiet the bar was wet, the tables were sticky and dirty and the loos were filthy! We won't be returning....0

I had gammon there last year and it was awful. Half of it was dry. It is a lovely space for the kids to play in but the indoor area is filthy. I wont be going back there.
They always seem to be advertising, I can see why now !0 -
Not sure how far you want to go but we like the Egerton Arms in Broxton ( on the A41/A534 roundabout) also the Bickerton Poacher & Copper Mine, further along the the A534 toward NantwichThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. We are hoping to have a coach drawn by 4 freisans leaving Maelor Equestrian Centre Hope Nr Wrexham on Easter Sunday April 12th with 7 paying passengers and we were hoping to call in at the Golden Groves.

Not too sure sorry, you could try googling them for a phone number and giving them a ring - that would probably be your best bet.

The Golden Grove has now opened after refurbishment with new owners and a brand new menu! Serving fresh local food, real Ales and a selection of wines. New website up and running to check it out0
