And where do you think Quidco get the money from - thin air ? If Quidco give you a payback it must come from the supplier and then there is Quidco's rake-off as well. Charitable trusts are deserving of our support, that is why I said Quidco is a bit much! The thread onNat. Trust membership (England) has a similar theme.why is quidco taking it too far..if quidco offer moneyback then why not use it?"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
chill..i was only saying...this site is all about saving money at the end of the day and if people choose to join the NT at a reduced cost then at least they are getting people to join who otherwise wouldn't have.I wouldn't of joined before had it not been at a reduced rate..i am not joining this year as there aren't enough propertys near me anyway..0

For anyone with a bit of spare time, and interested in giving something back to the National Trust, if you volunteer with them, you get free entry to the properties/car parking for yourself and someone else, plus children under 18 . You can also get the same benefits from seasonal work.

Don't be so daft - the money comes from the NT if you went to join in an NT shop and they turned round and said there's £20 off today - are you seriously telling me you'd say no and insist on paying full price?
It's obviously an NT marketing strategy to get you going in the first place and they then hope you carry on renewing at full price by DD or they'll be able to make the money back in the shops and cafes. They've done it regularly over the last few years, so it must be workingAll the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!0
