10 months free, 12 month contract not by redemption?

Not sure if I'm working this out right as I have not seen this sort of deal before, just seen on phones 4u site a vodafone tariff which is £25 a month for 12 months with £200 auto cashback ? So far seen this deal on three phones a samsung j700 black and pink for us women and a t303 which looks quite nice,

Also on quidco you can get £50 for vodafone which makes the deal free does it not?

Please could someone give me some advice as I have heard some horrible stories on cashback but this seems to be upfront and not by redemption ?

Thankz

Em x

vodaphone either pay out or delay it for like 6 months, according to threads on here.

im personally glad i didnt switch to voda when they had the £150 cashback on the tocco, as loads of folks said how theirs 'declined'.

go way to suck folks into a contract!
  • That, combined with the £50 from Quidco for a Phones4U contract on Vodafone, is quite a good deal. The only problem is the minutes/texts are actually rather pathetic (though, I do have 3 Phones4U contracts on the same vodafone tariff, just for the actual phone).
  • Thankz for the super fast supply! Wouldn't this be paid out from the phones 4u company rather than vodafone ????
  • Yep, by Phones4U. So if they go bankrupt within the next 30 days, you won't receive a penny. Most unlikely though.

I just bought the same deal on the T303 right now.

    No.

    You pay voda £25 x 12 (£300).

All the money you get comes from phones4u (ie the £50 via quidco plus the £200 cashback). But that only comes to £250, so you don't get the deal free.

But ignore the post saying voda may delay paying out - voda won't be involved in paying you at all!
  • Thanks quentin, so it's going to cost me £50 for the whole of the 12 months ? So for just over a pound a week I have a choice of getting 50 mins and 150 texts a month or 100 mins and 50 texts depending on which £25 tariff I choose + plus a nice new phone ?

Yes - (assuming phones4u pay up! If for any reason they don't, then you will still have to pay voda in full.)
  • Thank you, I just got it via quidco so hopefully all goes well !!!!
