Found bargain elsewhere on other forums but is it ok to post here?
Only posted one thread so far but not sure if i can name the source forum for any new bargains that have yet to be posted on mse. Is it ok to name them?
Is there much rivalry?
cheers

i would suggest to post without naming the source and let others decide how good of offer it is. No rivalry on MSE at all. All were interested in is the offer0

I would say post the details, and mention the forum.
It used to annoy me that postings here would appear on Rpoints or usenet without accreditation. It would be polite courtesy to mention where you got it from, as I hope other forums would say "taken from MSE" if they posted something that originated here.
However be warned most postings on other forums have also appeared here previously so worth searching to make sure it hasn't been mentioned a few pages previously.
Finally if copying from another forum, make sure that you don't copy any referrer IDs etc. that the other forum may have used.

I must say that if I find a bargain/freebie on another forum I always credit the person who posted it. I just think it's polite and if that person frequents a lot of forums, as some do I'm sure they'd be chuffed to have a got a mention. I know I have been in the past.
Don't keep us in suspense, what's the bargain please.0 -

I'd want this forum to be credited for good ideas, so probably best to write the deal and thank the forum and poster there tooMartin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.
