wow
It IS a credit card.
It DOESN'T give you cashback, but 1% of spend goes to the Global Fund for Africa. Percentage increases to 1.25% over £5000.
It WILL be chip and pin.
12.9% APR. (5.9% life of balance transfer)
Launches in March.

The whole Red thing is a complete marketing gimick for companies and rich pop stars who think they are on the verge of sainthood."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

At least there is no annual fee, no matter how little you use the card (vs blue and platinum where there is).0

however Amex wasn't the first one to bring out a red credit card, remember the Nationwide Comic Relief Credit Card."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

Do you mean there's kudos in having a red amex card or just rarity value (which I doubt as the min salary is 12k)?The_Toff wrote:BUT IT'S A RED AMEX.
Realistically, how many people are gonna have this card...not many.
