To pay for it, existing customers have to pay 25% more at renewal.
I've just told em where to shove it. They offered to knock the increase back off, but it was too little too late.
I will just go and be a 'new customer' somewhere else.0 -

Good luck;)If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
The computer remembers that you printed them, even if it was a while ago.
I was aware of that but when I visited the site the 3 mentioned coupons allowed me to tick them which usually means they will print. It was only after I attempted to print the status ticked box changed to print limit reached.
Also why would it ask me to reinstall coupon printer again when it has been up and working for ages??
Thank you0 -

I have a friend who is till supervisor and authorises all the coupons and got called in for a chat with the manager who told her head office are not happy and are currently reviewing their coupon policy.
For now she's just been to check all coupons very throughly, not to accept more than 10 in any transaction and only to accept them in their 'true form' this means no black and whites (although i didn't have any problems using b&w today).
Anyone else 'know' anyone who might be in the 'know'?
I just thought i would mention it and suggest that if this is the case now might not be the best time to be contacting head office?

Hmmm ... this is interesting. I was shopping in my local (usually very coupon-friendly) Tesco Extra last night, and the supervisor there (again, a v. friendly and helpful lady, who freely admits to using coupons herself) said to me that Tesco were going to be stopping all coupons "very shortly", and that there had been memos sent to all stores from Head Office about it. I couldn't get much more information from her than this, but it would appear that the writing could well be on the wall now at Tesco.0 -
my printer is a brother and I have been told by a friend who has the same one that there a no compatable inks for the brother range as they spill ink all over the place so I am paying £15 for black ink and £26 for 3 colour inks - not cheap but worth it for higher value coupons but any advice about compatable inks would be appreciated
They would not still be in business if they sold leaky inks.
A quick google of "brother compatible ink" gave a whole list.
There are a number of brother machines for which they do not list compatible inks...probably because of quality issues...but I, personally, would try a cheap compatible ink, if available, before getting rid of an otherwise good printer.;)It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0 -

I just phoned British Gas Homecare and said I wanted the 15% discount although im existing customer. I was put through to Customer Care (Retentions) and stated I was considering moving. I was "encouraged" to find cheaper comparable quotes and did this using uswitch and energyhelpline.
I found several cheaper but they would not match as cover was not the same. However the stated they would match Eon and therefore reduced my premium from £17 to £13 (even though Eon came up as £14.68 on my search). I was due an increase of 71p in March and I was told this would now not happen. So saved £4.71 per month and still qualify for no use discount if I dont claim again this year (£25). Worth the call!!:j0 -
:T Hi ALL.
Im new to the coupon and voucher scene.
Just thought i'd drop by and say hello!
also i've just been to tesco and was delighted to see my favourite choc sprinkled muller lights at half price £1.47 for a pack of six, so i treated myself to a packet,
i was even more delighted when i got home and found that the packs have a £1.58 coupon in for little star yogurts.
With tescos current policy am i right in thinking i can now use the little stars coupon against any normal shop?
if so this would mean a free pack of choc sprinkled yummy yogs and 11p for carrying them to the car!!:rotfl:0 -
