the free litre of milk one looks really good.
they did one last year but i forgot to get one.
    has anyone tried it yet?

    Hi,

I am the original OP and prior to posting I printed some and tried them @ sainsburys - they were accepted no problem, the only thing is that they are valued @ zero and the price each store charges has to be typed in (so its useful to have this ready if the SA asks).

    HTH.

Hi,for all the parents with youngsters out these, was in Asda today and bought a Huggies super dry Jumbo Box for £8 reduced from £12 containing 90 nappies and a pack of wipes but also a booklet with £8.10 worth of NSS MOCs, great value without the mocs but with them you are getting paid to take it away!

    £2 off huggies x 2
    £1 off huggies x 2
    50p off andrex
    50p off kleenex
    30p off andrex x 2
    25p off kleenex x 2

all with good long expiry dates 31/12/09

    grabbit while you can!:j

I would try a young lad in the future who are usually quite happy to scan any coupons you give them

Tried your idea today. Apparently they've got a new policy:wall: (third one in 2 weeks just in one store!) 'New' one is that they'll only take vouchers up to 10% of what you spend:rotfl:. So what happens if I Buy Actimel for £2.64 and hand over a £1.00 off coupon?

I'll have to back soon just to see what they come up with next.

I think I got enough evidence of incompetence for this now

Next time you have a problem, ask them to call head office to verify what the policy is. Plus it is always handy to have a copy of the policy from the 1st post on you to show them.
    Should be fun!

This is almost as entertaining as seeing MM5 suffering without his calender:D.
Haven't heard from him since early this morning. I wonder if he's busy cutting out his new coupons.

I don't know how you all can be bothered with your coupon policy. Don't you get bored of asking to see the manager (or whoever). My shops dont take anything and i got used to it, even if i did make me sad.

Whilst avoiding the daggers :D may i ask is this castello cheese any good, i've never tried it yet :)

Personally I think it depends on how much you need the use of coupons. Coupons have really saved the day for me since I was made redundant. One of my local Tescos rarely takes coupons so I visit other stores that do. I have to say that the the coupon policy hasnt made much difference when showing it, if the management have decided no coupons should be accepted they seldom change their minds.
