Thank you for your message.
Dear Miss ,
The new coupon acceptance policy is as follows.
We will accept all manufacturers' coupons (including internet coupons) in line with the terms and conditions of each coupon I.e. Customers must buy the product to redeem the coupon.
There is no limit to the number of coupons that can be redeemed in a transaction, as long as they are redeemed against the product specified e.g. 24 x 10p coupons off Heinz baked beans - customer must purchase 24 cans of Heinz baked beans.
1. The coupon must be 'in date'
2. The coupon must not be for a specific retailer other than ASDA. e.g. 20p off toothpaste at Tesco
3. The customer must have purchased the product
Each coupon has a bar code, which should be scannable.
Self Scan
All coupons tendered at self-scan will now require authorisation. This means that with each coupon scanned, the system will automatically trigger an intervention and the host must authorise.
I hope that this information will help you.
Kind Regards
Lisa Schofield

My God, no wonder some of us wanted a separate thread only for coupons, so we didn't have to wade through pages of repetitive arguments and garbage.
it's usually the people who chat that post all the coupons and links. I don't see why people who don't contribute coupons, or help answer questions should have their own way.AKA: PC

Because of the reference to 'clear barcode' when saying it "wouldn't scan", I read Swanee's comment to mean it was a technical problem of the scanner reading the code (e.g. dirty or 'fussy' scanner), rather than "wouldn't scan" meaning it scanned but came up as 'cannot accept this coupon' on the till system.
I hope that's the case anyway! Correct me if I'm wrong Swanee.0 -

Its not rocket science- just read the first page if you do not like the chat!!
Alternatively and this may be completely left field... you could add some positive help or heaven forbid maybe find a MOC!!0
