I recently had to return an item to Tescos, bought with coupons.
I had the receipt but they refused a refund, so I said I would accept a giftcard and use later. This was also refused. They would only exchange for a similar item.
Is this correct policy? Surely if they accept coupons as cash, they should refund as cash? Or is that asking too much?0 -

I had to return a couple of items after Xmas due to them being faulty but as I had bought them with coupons I didnt take the receipt and was told to look around the shop and pick up items to the value. This wasnt really a problem as I can always find something to purchase in Tesco.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494
