My local store seems to be getting a bit 'tighter' on coupons. Friday no problem - 16 coupons, £13+ including 1 Plenty. Saturday, usual SA, "I'll just have to check", "Oh no" thinks me, she calls over supervisor (not the one I prefer!) who says "it's 10 coupons but only 3 internet", managed £11 which included 2 Plenty and the free yoghurts (which didn't count towards the 10!). Sunday, the 10 rule came in again so only got £7 which included 1 Plenty. I've used all my £2 thermacare from Best so I haven't got many high value "non-internet" coupons left. Anyone else had similar? I suppose £31 isn't bad, but I don't like being restricted. If they keep this up I'm going to struggle to use all my low value couponnet coupons before they run out.
I'd be interested to know which store this is as it bears a strong resemblence to my last week shoppng in Tesco. We are now down to 5 coupons and then supervisor checks and refuses anything that is slightly blurred or hard to read e.g. yeo valley, orkney etc.0 -

We don't always do this but you know what it's like if there is a good bargain etc!!! I wouldn't do it to often and maybe choose a quieter time of day aswell. Or maybe you could do smaller shops every day or every couple of days this would help you dispose of the lower value coupons and use more coupons to save you more money. xxxxIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0

My local metro store implemented a "must purchase product" policy a while ago and just recently moved to one coupon per shop if not buying. However a new store manager started this week and I had a good chat with her when I asked her for some help finding an item: I stated that I attempted to use a coupon and was told needed to buy product and thought this may have been against TESCO policy. The new manager agreed and promised to communicate the proper national policy to all staff.
I have been in twice since and used 8 coupons both times and even the previously Hitler type employees happily accepted all coupons and even typed in problem MOCS.:T :j0 -
Does anybody know if Mr T's take the farmfoods spend £25 and get £2.50 off vouchers? I know they used to take the Sainsburys ones but not sure about these.0
