Hi all,
I currently have NTL's 2mb broadband at £24.99 a month and have had for about 3 years now, plus a BT phone that charges me 30 odd pounds a month in service charges (my actual phone bill was about £10!!...I dont talk much! lol!) so Im considering NTLs 3 for £30 a month package.
Just wondered if anyone else has signed up for it and weather or not there is a catch!
thx
Andy

I'm sure NTl were doing an offer of tv, broadband and phone rental for about £30 not long ago. have you rang and asked if they have any offers on (usually they are for new customers only though)The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
You will be missing your internet speed as this one is 512 I reckon.
Apart from this considering your situation it should save you money.0 -
Yer I did note it was for 1mb only...but the card I got through my doors says 10mb is available too.
Might get the sales guy round and see what he can offer...if Tiscali are still offering 2mb BB for less, Ill mention it.

Ive just seen that they do a package deal with 2mb broadband for £49.99 a month.....but reading the small print on the site it says:
"Does not include line rental at £10.50 per month. Second month price £24.99 per month."
So that's bumped the price up a fair bit!....not sure now it's worth it!Titch

had a thing in the post today - NTL basic digital tv, phone and broadband for £30 month.
I rang NTL as i pay slightly more than that for ordinary tv, phone and broadband and they have reduced my monthly rental by £6.50 wiht free local evening and weekend calls.
It pays to ask what offers they've got on.:jThe curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
The internet is 1mb and it does work out well, depending on what you've already got on a sky package, we pay around £38 a month including the childrens package, if you use 1899 for your telephone calls you pay NTL about 16p a month, so its not really worth signing up for any of their telephone packages. You also get some good deals in the first three months with extras etc... if you have a friend who is already with NTL and you decide to sign, make sure to tell them that you want them to get a referral bonus (not sure how much they get but I did it for my friend) and it costs you nothing to get them a bit of money too.0
