Paul Mackenna - Sky one Moday at 9pm, or his website

    http://www.skyone.co.uk/mckenna/

    Totally cost free.
Been doing this almost 3 weeks and lost 9 lbs so far. No dieting, all food and drink allowed! and a 71% success rate.
Oh - and no hypnosis either.....
Why oh why hasn't someone thought of this before?

This person speaketh the truth, I've lost a stone and a half following this ideology (I cant call it a diet because it's not, you still eat what you want but eat, slow and conciously and stop when you are full, not stuffed)

I didn't think it would do much, but it's great and I feel better now than I have for YEARS (I hope to be able to change my overeating habit forever, this is highly recommended)

Funnily enough, I've been to Slimming World this morning and I've lost 3.5lbs in my first week. Been there before, and if you stick to it, its a good diet to do in my opinion. Although I too hate paying out money to attend classes each week, I find its the only way I can keep momentum up and lose weight. Last year, I lost 2.5stone at SW, but for various reasons, stopped going and put 1.5stone back on.

Am going to try the Paul Mckenna book too though - got to be worth a try!

PS By the way, both SW and WW allow 'all' foods, its just within moderation. They will both tell you they are healthy eating plans and not diets. With SW you get between 5-15 'syns' a day to spend on whatever you want, this could be a chocolate bar or cake if you want! This would be in addition to your 'free food' or healthy extras for the day not as complicated as I've made it sound!)

As nearlyrich has mentioned we already have a lose weight sticky thread on the I wanna board. It would be helpful if anyone wanting to lose weight or discuss dieting could post there, so that all the weight loss posts can be kept in the one place.

I'll lock this thread in the meantime so that the information already posted will still be available for anyone who needs it.
