Morning all. Pay day today so all this most depressing day of the year stuff is bobbins as far as I'm concerned
Plus I got all my Qype goodies at the weekend.
Today I have/will:- Checked bank account. Wages have appeared this morning so swept all the money left over from last month's wage into my three savings accounts (first time I've managed to do this ever!)
- Check for surveys. None yet.
- Storecupboard breakfast, dinner and snacks. Should be soup or something else in the house for tea.
- Not a NSD as I need to call for football tickets... should be NS otherwise though.
- Charge everything at work.
- Call Scottish Widows and reset the password on my ISA as I can't for the life of me remember what it was.
- Let my OH set up a bingo account in my name. He seems to enjoy doing the scratch cards (and having the odd go on Blackjack to make sure his accoutn doesn't get closed) and I wouldn't know where to start.

I've got 2 days off work (YYYYYAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Ahem, it's the first days off I've had since June so I'm a bit excited!) so will have no need to spend money on a bus fare or anything;
But I need to buy a new light for my lounge which will be around £30 as I've been sat in the dark for a week and a half;
Washing at 30 today;
Will play some comps later;
Check my Pigsback and some free bingo later.
Edit - just back and the new lounge light was £7 from B & Q so I'm well happy!!!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Hey, hope you don't mind me posting still very new.
Today I will:- Check that A&L have sorted my direct debts on my new account
- Check online banking
- Wash the car myself rather than paying £7
- Transfer my credit card balance to a 0% for 12 months
- Tell my friend I can't afford to move in with her

Morning everyone :hello:
Fay, hope DD is better soon, hate it when they're sick, poor things.
I am going to be thinking about my short term plans and putting them in motion. Very worried about work indeed.
On a good note I have someone coming to stay for a while, a friend who will be a short term lodger, this will give me some extra money to throw at the debt :T
So, onto the list:- check banking
- update spreadsheet
- update diary with new plan
- charge phone
- bought in breakfast and lunch
- tidy and clean spare room
Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Morning All :hello: Thanks Sophiesmum, Welcome Yorkshire born:hello: and Aw poor thing Fayjmk I hate it when my "babies" are ill (19 &22
)
Well I'm not feeling depressed today - felt blue last night, but that was because I was missing Popeye, so much for Blue Monday. But I hope you guys are all feeling chipper, or "up and at 'em" this week
Today I have/will- prepared room for the lodger who starts arriving tonight - it's going to be a 2-week process as she closes up the family home and sorts stuff into storage/keep/bin etc.
- supper will be cooked in my Remoska, she's happy for me to experiment and she's not fond of cooking. Which means that I get to control the menu planning and shopping and can keep it LOW

- Brought in lunch, sadly I ate ALL my HM Graze ingredients last night in front of the TV - an apalling amount of calories and now no snacks for the [STRIKE]day[/STRIKE] week

- will do on-line banking
- will apply for a focus group for which I qualify :j :j at last. Though I need to work out if the travel wipes the profit.....
- started scratchcards and have won 50p so far...... (small DFW stuff this
) - will go to the gym tonight to use my membership
