Best PAYG rate

Good morning,
I'm only using my mobile phone for phoning and texting occasionally.
So PAYG is the best way to go for me.
I'm just wondering about the best available PAYG tariff at the moment.
I've found the ASDA PAYG tariff
http://www.asda-phones.co.uk/
with 8p per minute and 4p per text.
That's the best tariff I could find. So I assume that is the best one out there?! Or can you find a better deal?
Thanks!

asda mobile are the cheapest i have found and the customer service is superb ( you speak to a real person) and they piggyback the vodafone network for great coverage too. :jEX POSTIE.0

Asda are the cheapest at the base level - but for some Lebara and Lyca will be cheaper.
A useful feature of Lyca is that you can have a call between Lyca SIMs for 10p for 30 minutes - so this is great for those calling the same person again and again.
www.lebara.co.uk runs on Vodafone
www.lycamobile.co.uk runs on Orange0 -
Will a lycamobile sim definitely work in a phone locked to orange?
I have read on here that t-mobile sims dont always work in virgin phones.0 -

It should do - it always seems to work that way the child SIM works in the parent phone but not vice versa.
That is - Asda SIM works in Vodafone phone
Virgin SIM works in T-Mobile phone etc etc0 -
Thanks allthatmularky. Looks like it may be a good option for me.0
