Got a good deal for car hire with auto-europe through price match

I'd had a quote from auto-europe uk for 10 days in France in June for a Citroen C3 with aircon for £202, including refundable excess. Didn't seem particularly competitive so decided to keep looking.

Then the other day I got an email from Holiday Autos telling me that they have a sale until the end of January.

I obtained a quote which seemed very competitive in comparison (£179) but when I went to rpoints to see about getting cashback, I noticed another company called www.carhire3000.com.

The quote from them came in at £177 including refundable excess and an additional driver to boot! HA and auto-europe both make you pay extra for additional drivers whereas their quote showed it as being free.

Then went back to auto-europe who do a pricematch guarantee, told them I could get same deal but with additional driver for £177 less £3 cashback and they've beaten it again with £173.

Have subsequently noticed that neither carhire3000 or HA offer cover against fire damage, which auto-europe do.

Pretty chuffed with that. I used auto europe last year and they were really impressive, everything went without hitch and emails are answered within minutes.

Thought I'd give them a plug and tip others off about their price beater guarantee.
