  • No limit in Newton Abbot store as I found out this morning when they had charged me for 3 deals instead of 4 yesterday. Went back this morning with receipt and got the £1.00 owed and £2.00 credit on the 'Savings card'. Had to hand the card over and ask for the £2.00 because of their mistake. CS person did not look pleased but honoured it without a word. Does it come off their bonuses?

Notice up saying limited to 6 per customer, but I took that to be 6 dw and 6 wash liquid and 6 bleach etc, which it obviously was as I got way more then 6 in total of different product. Most was 4 fairy wash liquid ( I was buying for a friend. How sad am I, I actually phoned her to ask if she wanted me to get her some ;))
Just think you were unlucky MrsAnnie.
Think the floor manager must have a pretty sad job if he has to watch how many cleaning products customers are buying. I mean, taking whole boxes/crates of one item is one extreme, but to stand there counting how many sprays and bottles and bags you put through is just.......pathetic !!
    Don't let him upset you.:o
You wasted a few minutes time and effort on a fruitless shopping trip - bad enough I know, but he has obviously reach the limits of his intellectual capacity.
He is clearly destined for senior management level with his blind obedience and lack of common sense

Blast I hate not being able to spend my money.

Sorry have I been greedy when there's a bargain?I must learn to control that bargain hunting and save some for others.

30 bottles!!!!!!! and I could not even buy 2

Well have have reported the incident to ASDA and they are taking it seriously and hopefully the manager will be hauled up. They should not be able to get away with humiliating a customer over buying 8 items from a promotional sale. It also sounds like they misunderstood the item requirement. I can not beleive they thought they could only sell a customer total of 4 items out of all their sale cleaning products when there was about 15 products in this sale:eek:. Could not have made many sales that day and must have alienated quite a few customers that had more than 4 items in their trollies.
