Seems to be a common occurrance at Asda these days. Same thing happened to me at another store last week. Pity, I've always found it exceptional for customer service until recently. Credit crunch strikes again probably.0 -
It's the original Fairy Liquid (dark green one) that's on offer 2 for £1.Other's normal price0

darn I bought 3 bottles of Fairy in asda the other week when it was 3 for £2.
Will tell my mum about the dishwasher tabs (she never buys cheap value ones in asda)A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Thanks to the OP. I bought 6 fairy liquid, 6 mr muscle kitchen, 6 bathroom cleaner, 6 bleach, 1 comfort, 4 toilet cleaners, and found a few boxes of xmas cards etc at 20p while I was in there - till receipt said I'd saved £17 !!!
on the cleaning theme bought 6 yellow dusters at Wilko's at 7p each. All I need now is elbow grease

is there a deal on for this0 -
I called in at my local Asda tonight, and saw people walking round with half a dozen fairy washing up liquids. So I checked the end of aisles - nothing. Checked the cleaning aisle - nothing.
Then forgot about it.
By pure chance I wandered down an aisle where staff were stacking shelves with all the bargains posted by op.
So agree with 1carminestocky - why don't they alter the sign where ALL the stock is located, not just the special offer aisle.
Just to add, the dishwasher tablets are the Fairy Active Burst Lemon with 25% extra - so 45 +12 tablets for £4 - bargain.
Very pleased with this as I am just coming to the end of my store of tablets I bought about 18 months ago - bogof at Tesco, but the packs also had 100% free:D
I was beginning to think I may have to pay half price - about £3.80 for 28 tablets ( which Sainsburys and Tescos currently have) but now I have an even better deal.;)
Oh, and the washing up liquid on offer is the normal green one.
Didn't see any elbow grease in my store, wish I had as I certainly don't get any help from the men in the household, whch means I am on my own in the cleaning dept :cool:0 -
