Vodafone sim only £10

I am currently on a contract with O2 which is due to expire and I am considering switching to a Sim only deal and as I'm on a Budget, the Vodafone £10 deal looks tempting as it includes more text messages than the same deal with O2.

Can I ask does the inclusive texts also include MMS, as I do send the occasional one and don't want to get charged for extra messages. With O2 you use up 4 standard messages with an MMS.

No it doesn't include mms, I think they charge 36p for each one.

Watch out also, i am on a good deal with Vodafone, so can't complain really.

But if you send a text message that classes as two (long text) then they charge you. 15p or something. Even if you have over 100 free messages left that could of be used!

A little trick they have also got is to send messages to you that need wap - so charge for that.

I have been meaning to go in and stop the messages (one every month or so) but always forget.

That really is bad. I do forward a lot of joke messages on and a lot of them equate to more than one message, and I don't currently get charged extra for those with O2. The sim only deals with Orange and T-Mobile (£15) are the best at the moment.

must depend on your phone settings because I send 3 txts long msgs all the time and they are inclusive with my unlimited txts

with vodafone aswell?
might ask them about that if you get it free
