Violetmva - the crucial bit here is your follow up post that says that it was advertised as compatible, but is not.

In that case, you can raise a 'not as described' dispute in Paypal and return it for a refund - you will need to pay return postage and make sure you get a proof of posting, but they will not be able to charge you any re-stocking fee in that circumstance.

See this is a problem I had, bought a garment for the missus who is 12/14, garment that arrived was size "Battleaxe extra" needless to say I contacted vendor and advised label did not represent description and garment had enough material to carpet the great wall of china, paypal eventually found in my favour BUT and bear in mind BIN sale, they would not enforce the return of my postage costs, they decided I needed to return the garment at my cost and receive a refund minus postage costs, so I would have been 2x postage out of pocket, in any event they took so long that in the interim the vendor had told me to dispose of the item, which I did, I gave it to a local charity and hear it is currently providing bedding for around 300 cats. I still ended up out of pocket for 1x postage which was only £3.99 and not worth the chasing even on principal.

you need to send it by a trackable method and obtain proof of delivery not proof of posting

No offence OP, but why ask the question and then decide to not bother? Sellers get away with things because people just bend over and take whatever they do to them.
It costs you nothing to send a few emails to the seller, OFT and ebay
    Be nice
