  • Evening All :hello:

Been so busy today. Had a bash at the girls room. Dealt with the laundry... sorting the folded washing and dispatching to the various rooms. I hung up mine and DD3's clothes, and put away our stuff too.

I did the kitchen and more washing. Then it was DD3's app at the eye hospital today. That went well. She was very good, and the eye patch has done it's job. :j :j :j

I still haven't made it to Lidl or the pet shop!!! Ah well. Tomorrow I'm going to my lovely friend's house for lunch. Her friend has just had a baby who has Down's. So looking forward to loads of new baby snuggling.

I haven't caught up yet, so again, apologies if I post in the middle of a drama. (((hugs))) to all that need/want them. :D

  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. Since my last post I've helped my friend with her decorating, done errands, washed up & put the bin out. I've got to be up earlier than usual tomorrow morning, so I'm going to put my aims up now, which are to do volunteering, laundry & errands. Goodnight!

Oops - bit defensive there! Was going to bed but now seen that the Spurs match has gone into extra time and feel the need to cheer Burnley on :D

Will do desk decluttering until it finishes / I fall asleep

:rotfl::rotfl: at Froddy - thought you were off to bed :rotfl:

DS will learn another lesson soon - because next time he wants a toasted sandwich he will find that the sandwich toaster has been put away but has not been cleaned (and believe me this goes against the grain) because HE used it last and chose NOT to clean it...
Note to self - when 'meal planning' (ie thinking what to give kids) don't think of toasted sandwiches...
He was asked to do it - he didn't do it - Valliland is unfortunately NOT populated by fairies ... lesson learned (I hope) well an ironing fairy lives here and I am channelling her...:rotfl:

well havent done much today - just put away all the stuff that had congregated in the spare bedroom. the bedding was done on sunday after I had realised how long it had been since it had been changed.
dont like the look of tomorrow the study is still the messiest room in the house & I hate doing the bathrooms.when we bought the house years ago before prices shot up 2 full bathrooms seemed a wonderful idea and it is until you have to clean them!
does anyone have a good tip for getting red wine out of a pale coloured carpet? as I have managed to knock over a full glass of red wine in the lounge & you wouldnt believe how far it has spread

pigpen yay!! Good luck to your sis!!! Oh and just your luck with the WM!!
toochoosey I don't think that you get a huge length of time to bank it so I would soon
Valli thanks for the PM, AnW'sMum thanks for the email.
Toots yes took Matthew again today, he screamed at me when I collected him so thought he'd fell out with me, then screamed when he left ours so think he was just upset. We think he's teething as everything went in his mouth today. His Mam works Wednesdays so it's more of a break for his Grandma aswell (she had to take Holly to the vets today) and a social time for him.
AnW'sMum and little Miss A, all got yellow things for tomorrow here, DS2 made a bracelet with yellow beads on (he doesn't care if kids mention these things lol) DS1 has yellow dinosaur socks, I have several things I have found too :) Thinking of you all x
Mudbath great news, well done, no going back now!

Oh Matthews funny moment today, he was running round and suddenly STOPPED! There was a doll on the floor, he stared at it, we soon figured out he'd never seen a doll before. He must have thought someone had dumped the poor baby on the floor :rotfl: anywway eventually after I picked it up he touched it. So then we put him in the middle of all the dollies, he just stood shocked :rotfl: We got him to hold one later, he'd only have the very small one, was giving it kisses and cuddles. I might have to buy him a doll :D

Right, this evening, legs going daft, DS1s still awake, DPs playing with his car (but hasn't gone into work as it's quiter night and I need him to haul me up/down!) Oh and my books have arrived while I was out for my new courses, they were left with a neighbour :( I'm dreading opening them but excited at the same time, doing something I actually might be interested in!

Flying so far since last post is WM again, DW emptied and started to refill, cleared loads of rubbish, cleaned sink/loo/bath, done some organising calendars/diaries, banking (oops nearly forgot to pay the rent!!!) and I rejigged fridge. I need to put uniforms in TD, we seem to be missing some school sweaters again....Oh bother I best sort my clothes for tomorrow, another hotel meet with lunch :D yay!
One day I might be more organised...........
