 Have just knocked important phone call off list (income support) I applied for it in July last year, September they asked for a form to be sent in re mortgage details did it they lost it:mad: Received a letter re no receipt, rang them up told them I had sent the form to the bank, they said don' worry, prob in system. I then lost my voice for other a month so when I was able to phone them back they still had'nt receiving the form, although the bank sent it them and resent the form. Again I resent it bank sent it to them. Not heard anything, rang them up AGAIN today, claim is now closed because of length of time will have to reclaim:mad::mad::mad:
So have now been on the phone for over half an hour to an absolutely lovely lady:A who was really helpful and cheerful (thank you your an :A) Thank God they can back date the claim. Will now have to contact council tax and let them know whats happening (as I just received and attachment to earnings order to day - what earnings???)
Well lets hope that this time things go a bit smoother. Last time the problem seemed to be my mortgage which is only £100 a month - that really annoyed me because if I was in rented it would have been sorted out straight away:mad:
Now rant over, need to have a lie down and a cup of tea. Its so exhausting dealing with these things, espec as I have always worked - so frustratingmakes me sad.
Never mind onwards and upwards.:DThe problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

skipsmum - welcome to the thread, just a suggestion but that is a scarily long list. Don't try and catch up or you risk drowning and abandoning everything, I would just jump in tomorrow with Pigpens daily list. Everything will come round again next week. HTH. I am sure toots will be along shortly to welcome you properly, and Pigpen will spot you and add you to the list.
Children are back now but I still have the DR table covered in paperwork. I did finish the tax return though which was a relief. I must put this stuff away or we will not be eating dinner tonight, and a mess just breeds more mess.
I need to find the post about what to keep and what to bin for household filing - Flower was it you who had kept it?

Thanks for the idea Mozzy, I'll try and pick some up next time i'm shopping. I find fruit teas too sweet, which is odd when I don't like coffee without sugar. Ah well..
Toots and Mozzy - i've missed the numbers thing, you can't have a list of 80 things to do Toots!! Thats.. well sensible if it getws everything done i suppose. Just sounds a bit scary. Is that what you are picking numbers for?
Going to have a warm ribena to warm me up a bit (reminds me of being a little kid), then do the washing up, then sort the bookcase as its in dire danger of collapsing...
