Bookcase is done, and looks MUCh better. Definately not going ot collapse now. Need to do my files soon... I don't know what to do with my files from uni modules that are just one semester - is there any point in keeping them?
Toots - found the explanation of the list - seems like a very good idea. Might have to start one myself... Ahh thats a worrying thought!
MOJT - I think rosemary oil is meant to keep liceys away if that helps? Put a couple of drops into shampoo/conditioner and shake, thats what my mum used to do with me and my brother when there was an outbreak at our infant school.
Random thought but i do love all the yellow flowers/ birdies on our avatars. AnW's mum, i'm sure the real flowers look beautiful.Chifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~~ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal ~

MOJT - you would be better putting your conditioner on his hair and combing through its thicker and they dont like it, full marks is meant to kill the little b*ggers but doesnt always work, combing is harder and more time consuming but works also tea tree oil a couple of drops in his hair will help they appartently dont like the smell.0

Thanks everyone. Have put conditioner on it but they just won't want to come off
. Having to do it by and. Wonder if DS will be in bed by midnight.

Happy birthday Nicki :bdaycake:
Top news about your cheque Pigpen
AnW'sMum, I've put the word Yellow next to the word Gardener on the note I've propped up in the kitchen - usually it's to remind me to leave out the money for the gardener who's due tomorrow - it'll remind me to put something yellow on as well!
Good news from work today. My new boss has managed to find some money to keep me on until the end of the financial year. So thank you all for your vibes :T We now just need vibes that the business cases he's put through will be granted funding in the new financial year.
So, I'm putting job hunting on hold now.
But I'm off to fly. I shall do the bathroom tonight I thinkI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I haven't quite caught up with the thread yet...
Working today, so minimal flying. I did have a sudden burst of energy yesterday, and made a chocolate fudge cake, tidied a bit, and did 2 lots of washing before stopping to watch CSI at 9pm.
Today I have just washed the main bedroom linen.
Triker - I'm so sorry you feel so rough. I googled it and wished I hadn't! However, it did say that it isn't certain what causes it, but that women are more vulnerable, and complex precedures make it more likely. Huge, gentle hugs.
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday for yesterday Denise! (sorry I missed it then)
dusty - I like the smell of new carpet as well!
Must go cook dinner - spaghetti with meatballs, which everyone likes, but always takes longer than I think it will to make...
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I put lots of the sorted paperwork away. Thanks for the guidelines AnWs mum! I will start working through the last big pile on that basis.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day, even though I got called in to work! My boys bought me the Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food book - yay!!! I bought myself a computer desk from the Sallie Army Op shop. It was cheap and it's bigger than my old one so I have room to do the paperwork as well! Also came with a credenza!
Nicki - happy birthday to you :bdaycake:
A&Ws mum - I'm wearing yellow today - thinking of you ((hugs))
Hugs to those in need.
Another late night celebrating last night so once again flying was at a minimum. I guess the biggest achievement was getting this new desk part way set up :-) And getting the computer working again LOL It was resisting attempts to restart after it had been all unplugged
I have two loads of washing to hang out before I skip off to work in 30 minutes, so I'd best be away.If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0
