    Morning all

I've stripped my bed and done two loads of washing - out on the line.

Remade the bed. Dusted and polished the bedroom and cleaned the mirrors in the bedroom and bathroom. Dusted the bookcases in the back bedroom which is about all I can get to at the moment (full of stuff from little bedroom being decorated). Vacuumed my bedroom, landing, bathroom/toilet and just inside back bedroom.

Tidied round downstairs, S&S kitchen and cleaned the sink.

    Took the dog out.

Watched Nicholas Crane from last night.

    Off to catch up :)

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............to keep on top of my washing/ironing..... Keeping the same all this month to make sure it becomes a habit… - my next job once floor in kitchen dries – iron DS’s sheets (just in case Valli’s watching..)

So am going to sort the post and finish a few paperwork bits that I need to do - then I am going to attack DS's room - I'm not putting anything away, he can do that, but I am going to pick everything up off the floor, put TIDILY onto his bed, clear the rubbish and probably dust and vacuum, because it is a TIP and he will just sit in it tonight, whereas if it's all piled up on his bed, he has to do it or he can't sleep! (method in my madness) and GOD HELP HIM IF HE TRIES TO JUST PUT IT BACK ON THE FLOOR!!!
It's really bad and there are weird smells seeping through the door even when it's shut - probably another science project on his lunch again!!!
    Wish me luck!!!

Flower - my teenage SS his BR is the same. It would take him ten mins to sort which is infuriating. I fold his washing neatly, he stores it on the floor! I wouldn't mind but he is the only one who has a wardrobe and who actually has a finished room.

I am going to do 12.15 to 12.45 HHC on sorting out the household paperwork to find my P60 so I can finish my tax return.

    I GOT MY CHEQUE!!!!!!
Brilliant News!!! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j Enjoy shopping for your cooker, hope it's still in the sales for you!!! (if not, I always find bartering good - if they can reduce it last week, why not this week? :D )

Flower - what a brill idea, their on spec offer at Morrisons at the mo (can't remember how much) might have to get one and get back on the recycling wheel (slipped off due to illness)

It's great because the rest of the family actually recycle too - I only put one black bag out a week now, and usually only half full! -
I have put stickers on the draws - Plastic, Paper, Food waste and glass - and they actually manage to get the right draws, bread wrappers, bean tins, ect - but I always have to wash them out regularly as you can imagine, nothing gets cleaned out first so bean juice, etc usually stuck to the bottom of them... ;) Mine was about £15 I think (much cheaper than the proper recycling bins), hope you get one cheaper in Morrisons...

Exactly, if he actually did it, instead of sitting on his bed contemplating his navel, he would be done in no time...

I was a really bad mother today - I asked him all weekend and Monday and Tuesday for his washing, especially his school uniform, but nothing... so when he got up to go to school today - no clean uniform!!! He had to go in dirty trousers and jumper (found a clean shirt - just) They weren't really bad, but I was so mad that I kept asking and asking and I was determined not to do it myself and he was most upset - I think it sunk in for once... Am I a bad mother???

That's why I'm going to attack his room, I feel guilty now...:o

    Cheque now banked..
Credit card payment made (I now owe less than £1000!!!)
DD1's mobile bill paid.. :D.. I'll do mine next week

Flower.. no.. if you were a bad mother you'd have gone into his room and got his laundry that would not teach him anything.. you (hopefully) taught him that he is responsible for his belongings and hygiene and with luck the message will stay in!

trust you to find them!!! pmsl:rotfl: but lovely the fluffy yellow ones!!!
lil_me hope you get DH sorted out and have fun with Matthew at the toddlers - its so good to know he is now able to do it.
greenbee thanks for the answer to the veg - your MACAW should be to get everything ready for work before bed - none of this cooking at 11pm and tidying - you should have come home from the meeting and made your lunch, packed your gym bag and laid out your clothes and then gone to bed - you are tooooooooooooooooooo active at bedtime no wonder your brain doesnt switch off - dont mean to be preaching but you need to re-organise your evenings and slow down a bit!!! I dont want you burning yourself out!
liberty9515 take it slowly - if you have been signed off work then it was for a reason and you shouldnt be overdoing it at home! it takes ages to get back on top of renovation work - hex will tell you so - baby steps -and you will soon get it back to normal.
sammiell hi honey!!! thanks for asking - I am getting there- just need to get back on top of the flat and I will feel a whole lot better - No you wont go mental - you will relax and breath....... relax and breath....... :rotfl: I know what you mean though! Just think of the 3 weeks as a bonus to getting the place looking brilliant for your viewers and you can catch up on those cupboards that you have hidden everything in!!!!:rotfl: good luck with today's viewing. hello to Spike!!! take it slowly - you have still some healing to do or the doc wouldnt have signed you off!
moonflower the support and motivation from the others is great - I wouldnt get half my work done if it wasnt for this thread.

    anyone fancy a HHC/HHI 12.30 - 13.00????
    toots xx

    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
