I havent been around for a week or so. Not feeling too good and have been signed off work for a while.
Am still coping with the aftermath of my kitchen and bathroom refurb. I have lost quite a bit of storage in bathroom, cant buy anything new yet til bathroom is completed. So I have most of my bottles and potions in carrier bags on my bedroom floor!
I have also had mantlepiece ripped out, so finding brick dust everywhere!

Hurrah - I have been so so motivated by this site. I looked at the house this morning and with teenagers who do as little as possible.
The whole house is a bombsite, well maybe not but it feels like it.I was so cross and shocked at how efficient you all are.I have now attacked the washing and sorted out the kitchen.
And yes,I even washed the kick boards!
Today
Wm/dw loaded /unloaded
Kitchen worktops cleared
Sorted out recycling and put out in bin.
What do other people use to store recycling or do you put it outside immediatly each time?
Thank you Flylady-flower for your motivation.SPC £500 well will try very hard.
GC £6.16/£1500 -
Sorry should cross with myself and impressed by all of you.SPC £500 well will try very hard.

Nearly finished the kitchen in my HH:
- Washed windows - inside and out (because I do every week now thanks to pigpens lovely lists, it doesn't take long with the spray and paper towel - only need a quick polish off)
- Cleaned out fridge (did this at weekend, so just a quick wipe and check)
- Dusted where needed (around ceiling... where does it come from every week?)
- Cleaned all worksurfaces and windowledges
- Wiped all small appliances and even under microwave!!!
- Put DS's bedding in wash - he stripped his bed this morning after we had an almighty row about the state of his bedroom - guess what he's doing tonight!!!
Am going to do one more HHC before I start on a bit of paperwork -Anyone for another HHC 11 - 11.30?I will be carrying on with some odds & sods in the mean time... see you at 11... Laters all xI'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
That was a nice and productive HHC
Emptied and cleaned the kitchen bin:eek:The smell was making me heave:o
Put another wash on with LO's bed covers
Blitzed the hotspot on the table in the LR and cleaned under it
Hoovered and mopped the Kitchen and LR
Returned lots of bits of gibble from the LR to their rightful homes:rolleyes:
Emailed my mentor at uni
Need to wait til my floor is dry before i can do any thing else so i'll skip the next HHC and will do one once its dry.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
