How do i upload a picture

This is extreme uploading, I am effectively giving you the tools & knowledge to upload what you want, when you want. To your very own webspace!!  ;D

Once you are happy with the use of the software you will be able to upload your images in next to no time & there wont be a need to go through this whole process every time.

As you say, this is extreme stuff, a lot more than Bonehead was wanting to do. Might be simpler just to upload his/her pic from computer to a photo website, such as http://photobucket.com/ or http://tinypic.com/ as mentioned in another thread:

I'm an ogre...... Not really I had provided him with the option of a simple to use URL via PM which he may or may not take up. The simple method has been done so many times I thought I would introduce the FTP client / own webspace method as it's something which could be of future use to those brave enough whom have a spare 10 minutes or so.

I know what you mean, but the 'simple method' is perhaps quite an achievement in itself for some people! While it's great being able to set up your own webspace and upload stuff to it, not everyone wants to, and certainly doesn't need to, to be able to use pics here.
Well done for your help to everyone - you seem to go the extra mile!
