Ok, bear with me for two shakes of a stick & I'll find out all you need to know.

In the mean time you might want to click here and start downloading an FTP client that you will hopefully use shortly to upload your screenshot, PS what type of image is your screenshot (BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG or whatever??)
  • It's a jpeg Tone

As your with "Telewest" it seem's as if you will be using Blueyonder click here for a guide to the settings you will need for a FTP client like the one mentioned in the previous thread.

Also click on the "How To Get It" link as it seem's like you have to request it.

    So far you have to:

    1. Download the FTP client.

    2. Apply for your free "Webspace"

    3. Configure the FTP client to access your "Webspace"

    and finally.

    4. Connect the FTP client & upload your screenshot from your computer to your "Webspace".

so your image tag here will look something similar to this:

    [img ][/img]http://ww w.bonehead50.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/screenshot.jpg [/ img]

Minus all of the additional spaces I added.... ;D
  • Right, just had to reboot, so i'm d/ling the ftp client now
it's not coming very fast gonna take half hour ???
might leave it on & resume in the morning.
It seems a bit long winded for just upping a jpg ?
Or is this the norm ?

This is extreme uploading, I am effectively giving you the tools & knowledge to upload what you want, when you want. To your very own webspace!! ;D

Once you are happy with the use of the software you will be able to upload your images in next to no time & there wont be a need to go through this whole process every time.
