PCWorld Ipswich(Copdock) The worst

Like to point out that the PCworld Ipswich(Copdock) must be the most unhelpful store around in this credit crunch time. The manager must really go and try some customer relation course, was not willing to GA the E410 deal from next door Currys, and Currys were really enthusiastic?

Nope. I read this a dozen times and it makes very little sense. What is an 'E410' and why would anyone want to 'GA' it? In what sense is the manager's unwillingness to 'GA' an 'E410' indicative of a lack of ability in the customer relations area? Why were Curry's enthusiastic? Why did you not buy an 'E410' from enthusiastic Curry's? What's the credit crunch got to do with any of this?0 -

You'd understand perfectly what it was about if the post had been attached to the grabbit thread about the E410 camera.
Possibly the OP should request a merge with the appropriate thread to put this post in context...0 -

But what does GA mean?
Gravity assist?
Grumpy amphibian?
Gloating agnostic?0 -
Maybe something to do with the £114 price difference or maybe thats just me being a little bit of a penny pincher?0

EDIT 2 - Why would you want to go to the hassle of GA'ing it when the store that has it less than a 20 second walk from PC World?!
Maybe £114? or am I missing something?0 -
            Paul,
may I refer you to the following....

yeah there is price difference, lots of stores have been doing this ga method for other ppl i have read.
i guess it depends how tight the store is on not wanting to accept a product onto there stock file which makes them a loss, which is kinda understandable.
but still customers should come first.
i got served by a dan i think it was at pcworld and he was a not helpful0 -

I really shouldn't be drawn into this, but do you really need to refer to people as Jobsworth ******s and ***s ? just be cause they are reluctant to do something which effectively is a loss to them? Maybe if you had a diffrent attitude, you might find they may react differently.0
