    I've been Money Tipped!
A lot of English Heritage sites allow dogs. I have been to a few and it is brilliant that you can take your dog round.

National Trust are hopeless. They don't allow dogs even on their beaches! Me and my husband once walked to St. Michaels Mount with our dog only to be told when we got there that the dog was not even allowed in the grounds. I cancelled my membership the next day.
