All unidentifiable cd-r s and DVD-r s now identified and disposed of where nescessary resulting in a marginally tidier computer desk. DooYoo checked for the tenth time today on the off chance I've suddenly become really popular (I haven't) and everyones rated me (they haven't) miraculously taking me to payout level (still 2660 points to go). Still its killed 15 minutes and mopping the kitchen floor did away with another ten. Just time for a quick cuppa before I whiz out the door.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Well helloo there Floozie, I was thinking about you t'other day. The offspring are off to stay with the rellies at the beginning of November, not sure if I'm on chaufeuring duty but if I am I'll drop you a PM.
Other exciting news. OHs loss of temper at work apears to have paid dividends. Really it has. Honest. Well it has if you're completely delusional. If not then you'd discover, much the way I did yesterday thats hes off Thursday, in Friday (in theory his day off), off Saturday and then maybe possibly perhaps flying to pizza land after work on Sunday, although hes not sure if hes going or if the course that hes going on that he hasn't been sent on on the three previous occassions that he was being sent on, is even running. Clear as mud. So OH may or may not be in the UK between Sunday and Wednesday next week although since all the flights were booked on the last couple of occassions he could be departing earlier and leaving later than the current office brain fart suggests. Thats if he goes all. You'd have thought with four days to go someone would have some sort of a clue but apparently not. Turns out the entire masterplan hinges on the ability of a guy whos wife started chemo yesterday being co-erced into working overtime to cover this.
There are days I'm tempted to take a nut cracker to certain points of OHs bosses anatomy and this is one of them.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
In other more exciting news I recieved a clothes parcel via someone at work from one of the posh people what she does do for who was having a wardrobe clear out so shes cleared out in my direction. Same woman cleared out a rather new Bosch fridge after staining it with red vino. Twas a very exciting forray into the depths of the Brabantia logoed bin bag (who knew such things existed) which revealed that the lady in question is indeed very similar in size to me. Unfortunately not quite as similar as I would have liked however I do have a very nice pair of suede trousers destined for flea-bay and a pair of leather trousers which feel lovely but are a size too big and make me look like a cheap hooker although that could have had something to do with the miniscule strappy red top I was trying on at the same time. Still was fun dressing like a posh person with far too much money and a pathetic amount of taste. Had I been going to a bad taste party in the near future I would have been laughing, instead I have to come up with a World Book Day character (technically its 3 as the DDs need them too). Turns out the boss knows who Belle Du Jour is as his jaw hit the floor when I suggested that at the staff meeting.
Plans for today:- Housework - more specifically de-dogging the extension and mopping the floor. Dog is in full blown moult. Theres enough loose fur to knit another dog.
- Laundry - it really is never ending
- Meal planning aka grab something out of the freezer in time for it to be eaten for dinner tonight
- 2 DooYoos
- Stove cleaning duty and kindling generation
- The manic tidying of at least room
- De coating the hall. There are 4 of us. The hall currently boast 6 hi-vis vests, one hi-viz jacket, a ski suit, 7 water proof coats and 9 fleece jackets wedged onto 4 straining hooks. The door barely opens. I'm all for insulation but I do believe this is perhaps taking things a little far.

2 DooYoos done, only three more to payout. I'm as excited as a small child on Christmas Eve. I am indeed a sad old trout. Still simple things please simple minds and all that.
Not having a particularly productive start to the day considering I'm still sat on my !!!! staring at the PC a mere two hours after the OH woke me to ask if I'd like a cuppa pre-5am. Its not human! Having had several mor I am indeed high as a kite but not capable of functioing yet. Possibly food will help but my stomach is still asleep. I can hear it snoring although it could be rumbling, either way the thought of chewing requires more energy than I have at the mo. Off to stick the kettle on again and stuff more washing in the machine. I may even find the bottom of the laudry basket (if I hide the handwashing elsewhere).Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Sitting on my bum muncing crisps again waiting for the hairball to stop bleeding before I mop the floor. Trimmed her claws but managed to nick the blood supply to one and man do they bleed when that happens. Haven't suceeded in doing much else yet today, stayed at school alter than planned clearing out the music store cupboard.
OHs trip is off as they can't get him there or back without blowing £800 on flights and sending him late Saturday and returning him thursday or perhaps friday withl ots of time to kill at connecting airports so the whole thing has been postponed until the next time someone decides its imperative that he does the course in question.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

:rolleyes:Welcome to my world. We are a family of five - all having AT LEAST 3 jackets of some description each (barely any of which can I remember actually acquiring) plus 2 work fleeces, one MASSIVE padded work jacket and what can only be described as a 'collection' of hi-viz jackets. These are squidged under the stairs on 4 small hooks - this is also the space where shoes of any description go. Its a black hole - and if you ever venture in, you may never come out again.Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Happy Thursday moorning all. Its payday and I've dutifully sent a wodge of cash winging its way off the overall balance. Only spent £2 yesterday which was on a very swanky red music bag to keep DD1s cello book in . Theres less chance of her losing it that way. Cello book arrived and DD1 spent the evening in bed singing the songs from it.
OHs course is definately off, his friend is coming to stay for the weekend bringing an enormous and very lively puppy with him. Things could get very interesting. OH has since arranged to have Sunday off work so we're all off to watch DD1 in round 6 of her shooting competition. Think OH is considering shooting too, I know his friend is and DD2 is desperate to as well. Guess that means operation blitz the house needs whacking up a pace. managed to completely gut two rooms yesterday much to OHs disgust when he arrived home to find everything from room A had been dumped in room B. Still he did help by dusting his remote controlled car befoe duming it back on the windowsill.
Have done a single DooYoo. Couldn't think of anything else to review which is really odd considering I can do just abot anything. Still that 73 done. Just need 10 saddos to rate me and I hit 50,000 points and £50 although I have to wait 72 hours before I can claim it. Finding DooYoo full of saddos, I've had e-mails over my use of phrases, my spellings, my choice of words and others informing me I've misunderstood an author and my rating was unfair. Erm no the book in question was crap no matter how famous the author. Still a free £50 is just that. Its far more than I would have got from surveys in the same time frame. Especially as lightspeed wasted 10 minutes of my time before saying I'd been screened out. Its soooo annoying.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
