Urgh, tell me about it.
I have gone for a £3,000 budget for this crazy little experiment and should therefore be spending about £750 per month to be on budget. I'm at £500+ already and a lot of my bills don't come off until the end of the month.
I'm going to be spending December unfestively living on lentils :rotfl:0 -
Yep, I know what you mean, it's sod's law isn't it. Go for damage limitation.Start Date: 27/11/2010

DD1 is up to something. She spent two hours yesterday poop-a-scooping the garden and sweping paths then went on to potter around and rearrange things to make it tidier. Am on high alert for a request for a birthday party in the garden at any moment. DD2 has started leaving notes on the shopping list in the hopes that she will get a swimming Baby Born. Someone at school must have one as shes not usually a dolly person preferring to bury them in holes rather than dress them up.
This months final DDs and SOs go out today taking me to a total expenditure of £1306.76, still have the DDs haircuts, OHs towing hitch, petrol for my car and a riding lesson to go before the end of the month. Optimistically I'd like to end the month at £1550. Thats 55% more than the £1000 a month I'd allowed but does cover a lot of big one off bills. Unfortunately Octobers going to go much the same way, especially if OH insists on eating out whilst on holiday. Still it is a holiday and it has been quite some time since we had one. I can still do an awful lot of damage limitation and insist on picnic lunches.
DD1 has a shooting competition this morning so will need to turf her out of bed shortly. Not too soon though as I'm enjoying the peace. Will be running out the door at the last nano second anyway as the bread maker is on, we've run out of bread and I'm not going anywhere near a shop until the start of the week when I'll need to get petrol as I'm close to running on fumes but cheating a little by driving the Landie (purely to stop its battery going flat of course) as that has half a tank in it.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
2 DooYoos done taking me to 25170 points or 25% of the way to target. Just another 150 reviews to go. Actually thats not really true as I've only written 42 so far. Hopefully I'll get away with only having to write 126. Only she says. Well its free money, I've got the time and it is stopping me surfing and spending on E-bay. Turns out I can claim £25 in Amazon vouchers already. This pays a hell of a lot better than surveys and takes a lot less time.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Do you get anything for referring someone to the site? If so you could refer me and I could investigate it for money-making possibilities. I like the idea of Amazon vouchers, Christmas is coming after all :eek:0

I hadn't realised that you could do book reviews, I think that's a really good idea. Lots you can say about a book, more so than - for example - a bottle of perfume.Start Date: 27/11/2010
