Even though you understand that it's unfair, it still makes you feel carp when they take it out on you, doesn't it? Sorry to hear you're having a tough time, Moo. If ever there's anyone capable of onward & upward (even if they shouldn't have to), it's you. Wishing you a better day...0

Thanks Hollyberry.
OH arrived home yesterday and announced he'd taken the following today as a holiday. He was a completely different person last night due to not having to go to work today. Definately time for him to start looking for another job.
DD1 is still stiff and achy from Sunday but shes really looking forward to going back again this week.
Today marks the start of 3 days of paintig at school. Oh joy! Still tahts infinately preferable to taking 45 of the little darlings away for 3 daysSaving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
The money fairy has been! Quidco has paid out £94. Completed a survey for Global test Market taking me to their payout level again and I have an in-box full of surveys I really can't be arsed to do. Starting to lose my enthusiasm for debt busting. Mostly because you put so much effort in and then it either gets swallowed up in interest or something breaks which demands a handout and you're straight back where you started. Well ok so not straight back. We owe 7K less than we did when we started this malarky. Slwly discovering I'm not superhuman though. I I debt bust the house becomes a tip and if I do housework then the debt doesn't change. There must be a happy compromise somewhere.
Decorating is going slowly, but at least its going. Half the walls are edged ready to be rollered. I think its a bit optomistic to hope I'll get it all finished today but then I do like a challenge.
Matched betting has beeen rather more disasterous than usual. I've backed and laid a match for a nice arb. too nice. Since I've backed the game on May 4th and laid the game on May 1st. Bit of a dumb blonde thing to do. Odds for the actual match in question are completely useless. Will need to come up with a cunning plan pretty darn quick.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Things are getting more pants by the minute. I'm overdrawn by £1.44 so that'll be a tenner in bank charges then. Oh joy! Will be visiting the Post office to pay in cash this morning, if I do it on line it won't arrive until Monday which will rack up a further £20 in charges despite it instantly leaving one account it takes aeons to arrive at t'other end.
Sorted out yesterdays matched betting balls up for a £1.50 loss on one and hopefully £1.50 profit on t'other.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Ok I'm not overdrawn by £1.44 I'm theoretically overdrawn in that minutes ago I was overdrawn and now I'm not. Confused? I am. Nothing appears to have changed. Will go pay in extra wonga anyway just to be on the safe side.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

How bizarre! Hope the bank missed you going just a teeny shade pink for a few minutes...
Glad the matched betting worked out without too much hassle.0 -
The one I shall fondly refer to as the grumpy git has surpassed himself. He started back at work today so spent last night attempting to pick arguments over anything and everything and then spent the night in a sleeping bag on the sofa in a huff only to resume ranting at me at 5am this morning. I've hit the point where I don't want to open my mouth for fear of having my head bitten off but if I don't say something I get accused of ignoring him.
Heres hoping the arrival of his friend for the weekend will cheer him up. Not that they'll actually see much of each other on account of OH either being at work or being asleep. his afternoon naps seem to be getting longer and longer.
Really need to give myself a big kick up the backside. I am not going to spend my life feeling this carp about things I cannot change!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Yesterday was a much better day. OH behaved like a member of the human race making a very pleasant change. Took him and his friend to the local lead mines for some fresh air and an ice cream followed by a trip to the park to run some energy off the very excited demonic duaghters. Need to come up with something to entertain them all today as this morning plans are off because of a road closure which means the range is shut for the weekend.
Cashed in 1060 Global test market points and discovered I'm 40p off a payout from elsewhere. Don't seem to have spent anywhere near as much on bits and pieces this month so we're still on target for a reasonable overpayment. Not the 1K I've been aiming for but any overpayment is good.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Spent yesterday morning slobbing on the sofa with OHs friend attempting to come up with some concrete plans for his next visit in June. We were vaguely thinking a day at one of the many dedicated off road driving venues in the vicinity but instead stumbled across the Landy Rally. A charity drive covering 2800 miles and 11 European countries in 9 days mid September. To say the boys are excited is a bit of an understatement. Its nice to see the OH excited about something.
Spent the afternoon at the park whilst OH slept, hes on 4am starts at the mo which is why some complete moron from work phoned him at 10:30pm to tell him that somethings broken and need fixing but leaves before he starts. Why did they bother?
Must get my finger out and start listing on E-bay as the to go pile is rather large thanks to DD2s latest growing spurt.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Back to normality today. Have a huge pile of laundry to wade my way through. It seems to have rained non-stop for the past 48 hours so that will restrict me somewhat. Also noticed the LPG tank is down to 30% so will need to think about filling that again in the next few months. Need to phone the vets for more medicine. I forsee today being a rather expensive day.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
