I don't care about whether I get public humiliation etc etc I am only bothered that my sisters address is readily available for anyone to see. and whether this is going to have any personal effect on her as regards credit rating :undecided (I know it is meant to be based on address only etc but I have never really been convinced by that one, and since she does have the same surname as my former maiden name which is also published..... I worry about it).
Thanks everyone.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
Hello
Yes, having just visited the site for the first time I don't understand why some people tend to have more information than others, other than the fact they are from different parts of the country. I was amazed that there was already 1905 listings. I am not sure how far back that goes as I only went to 171 and that was from Jan 16 09.
I was interesting to see what is put in, but why some people had job listings and other none at all, not even unemployed was interesting.
I don't understand why if after 6 years Bankrupcy is cleared from your credit history, why it remains on the London Gazette forever?
Any thoughts would be welcome

BR notice should include any addresses where debt has been incurred, hence it showing previous address/name.0

I've still not worked out how to find myself on the Gazette :rolleyes:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Well that explains that than, why the life sentence with the notice, even criminals get a spent conviction after 10 years?
Just curious that all! Seems really harsh in these economic times!

Yes, pants isn't it. Once a BR always a BR :mad:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I just went into the Bankrupcy section and they are listed in order by last name and date of bankrupcy
ex I believe the first one starts with an A dated Jan 19 2009
Hope that helps

So can I clarify that if I go bankrupt once renting the new address will be listed on the IS site and in the local paper. Bloody hell if so, hope the landlord is ok with that!!!! If I went BR before I move would it be listed then? Only trouble is there would be a large deficit on my SOA then.
It's ridiculous isn't it, once a bankrupt always a bankrupt yet if you are a criminal after 6 years you are covered by the rehabilition of offenders act. Do any of you think this will ever change?I cant change the past, but the future is mine to play with!

Yes, the address you live in at the time of BR will be shown, and your previous address.
If you haven't moved into rented before you go BR you put your mortgage on your SoA, even if you have stopped paying it, then advise your OR of the changes once you have movedAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
