02 Online newbie

Just taken my first contract with 02 online and dont know what to expect billing wise, they have set up an email address from which i should be able to view my bill but i cant and the account was set up 12th, when i queried it with them last week was told it would take a few days to show but this is nearly a fortnight, also will it show what i have used and who ive called and texted? And do i get a paper bill as back up?

Sorry for all the questions but this is cheaper than calling there helpline which im told is 50p a min.

I have had a contract with O2 online for about 5 months now, I have never once recived a paper bill (which I would prefer) nor an E-mail to say my bill is ready to view, except for my first bill.

To view my bill, I log on to O2 with the user name and password that they gave me, and I can see who I have called and text.

I have an online account and I get sent an email when my new bill is ready to be viewed. All calls and texts are itemised, with no. called, length of call etc. Nifty tools to tell you the most popular nos. you call by minutes or by number of calls.
I had to set up a new email a/c when I first ordered a phone and that's where the bill is viewable, but notification of a new bill goes to another O2 email address I nominated at the time.

So everything is viewable once i can loggin, i will keep an eye on things and if i still dont see it in a couple of weeks i will call them. Can you just see the info once the bill has been produced or do you get to know what you are using before the bill is produced?

Yes, you can see usage ( under "unbilled usage ") during the month before the bill is produced. It is not always accurate to the last minute, as some calls /texts take a while to be added. But it is very good.

Make sure they have an email address so that they let you know when the bill is due.
You never get a paper bill, which is why it is called an online account

Called 02 last night and the first time they put it down to my firewall that i couldnt view my bill, so i tested it with a friends pc who doesnt have nortons and it still never worked, so i called up again and got someone else and it turns out 02 send me the wrong info they had missed a digit out on my user name and he picked it up straight away and i can now see my bills and everything else with the correct username.
