I fully understand if seller has problems posting out, neither item is important to be quick (both Valentine's presents) but still no items here & still no reply from seller. I'll leave it til Monday then see about a Paypal claim then.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

I have been in this situation a few times and always took quite a tough stance until last year. If the item hadnt arrived within 5 working days (if it was supposed to be sent 1st or 2nd class) AND I hadnt had any emails from the seller then I would pop a polite one through. If it got to 10 days and there was no change I would pop a slightly tougher one through saying that if I have no response and or item within the next 4 days I will place a claim/file report etc. Then on the 14th day carry out my actions.
However, Last Nov, I was taken into hospital suddenly with a suspected blood clot in my lung. I was in for 2 weeks. Not once did I even remember I had an Ebay account let alone was in the middle of selling loads of stuff.
I would advise thus: If they have a good solid feedback, give them plenty of time to get in touch whilst also contacting them by email/phonemail etc. Chances are its an oversight. If they are a newbie/bad feedback, use your discresion but its probably a scam.
Even if you do place a claim and it all turns out to be an innocent mistake, you can retract it and all is well.
 Hope this helps,
 Jo0
