I'm struggling to reach my target for my cc only £105 so far and need £65 more for this months £170...lots of 99p listings going on after weekend - as I have a carboot sale and hoping to raise some extra then and sell what doesn't go on ebay next week...

  • I'm very late joining this but I realise I need a kick up the ****! I've tried to get motivated before but work got in the way. However I'm currently between moving (on a career break) and have suddenly got loads of lovely free time so I need to clear some junk and get some money for my break.

I took photos of half(ish) of my items yesterday and have 42 books and dvds to put on amazon and ebay. I think I'd prefer a quick sale and I've used ebay before. But am up for using amazon if I think I'll double the money I'd make on ebay.

How long do you generally wait for a sale on amazon if you put the lowest price on??

I'm rezizing all the photos today and will try and write up the descriptions and research prices today and tomorrow so I can post sunday afternoon.

I then need to get the rest of the stuff photod, I have some stuff to put on freecycle and I need to make a website for a firend whose selling stuff. I really want to get it all done by next sunday when the next lot of auctions will go on.

It will feel really good to get this lot done and will clear a lot of space. Does anyone else feel a weight off their chest?

I also have a load of CD's, I'm going to go through and pick a few I think I can get a few quid for on ebay and amazon but the rest which aren't worth much, what's my best bet to get rid and make a little money off them??

    Thank you for your help!

I've sold another book on amazon so that's another £4.95 towards my target. Keep up the good work everyone!

Well done skippycat! Love it when things sell! I've sold a few items in the past couple of days but just waiting on them to be collected. Only about £2 though but at least it's out the house.

As for the CDs miss_keep_counting, try looking on music magpie for any that you don't think will sell for very much. You might get a few pence for them as they don't make much. Never used it myself as prefer to keep hold of the CDs.

Another £4.95 item sold - now brings the total to £110 but only 10 days left and not much else to sell for this month - carboot next weekend - so hopefully raise some cash there.

    Well done Jesa!
I've just withdrawn another £50 from Paypal after fees taken out so will add that in once it appears in my bank account.
Got a few things still on there but I'm really scraping the barrel with what I'm listing! Mind you, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
