Thanks Nova girl for the suggestions. I'll think about the bulk books on ebay. A car boot is out of the question - though the perfect solution - because of my work hours and the minor detail that I don't own a car (or know anyone who does)! I've put some books on Gumtree - I'll let you know if that works. This is such a great site for support. Thank you! :D

Hehe...you won't fit many books in the basket of a pushbike! :rotfl:
I've just sat and sent off a couple of old phones and hopefully I'll get a couple of quid for them. (lost the chargers so have no idea if they work :o )

Just withdrawn £51 from Paypal though due to ebay selling so adding that in the total! :T
  • Made another £8 today *HURRAH* and there's still one day to go til the end of March.

Patience pays off after my whinge yesterday about not selling anything all week - I've sold two books on Amazon today

Not sold much this month, but it's more than I would have done without this site. Thanks everyone :D

I've listed 10 items today and a couple have some watchers already. One item is a rio laser hair removal 'thing' and most sell for about £15-£20 so I'll be happy with that if mine makes it. (so far...nothing!)

I spent a long time last night setting up Auctiva, trying to work my way round the site. Saved some listings only to find it wont recognise my paypal address so I had to download Turbolister today and will work on that tonight.

Havent sold anything for a long time so quite motivated at the moment. I've only ever had a few things on there at any one time, so now would like to have a steady flow of items to bring in some money. Going to pay it off my credit card but my first target is the £55 we need to get into Chessington in a couple of weeks time so that we dont need to use Clubcard vouchers.

Got £18 on Music Magpie yesterday, so waiting for the labels and listed 3 items on Amazon.

I use Turbo Lister but wondered if Auctiva is better or not? I use basic HTML templates which I made myself so I can put free pictures in. Can you do this with Auctiva?
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Another £8 made on the final day in March *HURRAH* after a week of nothing I've made £16 in the last two days.

I've made £193 in March - I count the money once it is is my account, which means the money from the last two days will be counted in April. It's nice to have a start.

    Thanks again to everyone :T

Well done hiphouse! Great start to April :)

I have a little mini challenge for us all. Everyone needs to find any item that they would have ordinarily thrown away or recycled and pop it on ebay. Winner is the one that either can sell it or if lots sell (yeah right!), the one that gets the most for it.

Challenge can start say on 14th April which gives you plenty of time to find something and work out where you can list it.

    Anyone in?

Auctiva has the advantage that you can schedule listings for free, but it is not user friendly and is not accessible for great chunks of time.

I have been trying to bulk list for days and finally gave up yesterday and downloaded Turbo lister again which I shall use alongside Auctiva in future.

I've got a big box of stuff for ebay bnut I'm feeling slightly depressed about it - it's all random stuff that I have no idea if it'll sell or not, so I can't motivate myself to list it. Make me do it, someone, please!
