Replying to MMS messages
Options
Just a note of warning, because I have fallen for this a few times on my Nokia Symbian Phone ("smart phone"!) on an OVP Orange tariff.
If I receive a MMS message (eg a photo) and then respond to it with a text only reply then I am actually billed for sending a MMS message (which is a higher cost than a standard SMS & is also not included in my text allowance) - I am not aware if the text reply actually gets sent as an SMS or MMS.
The way to avoid this is to ensure you reply to the person who sent the MMS by starting a "New Message" and not "Reply"ing to the message
This may not be an issue with other phones / tariffs.
