I bought the Richard Sheffield Entertain knives last week on Amazon when their 9 piece set was reduced to £17 and I can tell you that the knives are VERY sharp. OH just nearly cut the top of this thumb off this morning with one :eek:

However, just wanted to warn people not to waste their money on this: Zyliss MultiPeeler, Electronic Peeler, Blue £3.94 from £15. It's hopeless - really slow for easy things like carrots and doesn't peel thick things like turnip/swede. I bought it despite the bad reviews I read on Amazon so only me to blame .

Bought it when it was going cheap, but any that style are good quick peelers. I would imagine electric peelers are really only any use for people who have problems with their hands.

I can second that - bought one last week and its a load of rubbish, I gave up trying to do my carrots and went back to normal peeler - the only thing it might be any good with is kiwi which I don't have any of atm.
