It is just incredible. He took about 4 steps and she said it was too much.
She doesnt want him to get better.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Bathgate~Im laughing at the thought of you putting bagpipe music on repeat & going out.
I did give them a blast of Runrig and 'Loch Lomond' earlier purely to test how loud the Xmas pressie ipod speaker thing could go. Apparently very!
I think the problem is that I'm quite quiet - keep myself to myself and listen to music in the car or at the computer. About 6 years ago there was a wee lassie who lived in their and she was hauled up by one of the other neighbours over her music and said, "Well the walls must be well sound-proofed as I don't her her upstairs play her music". Yes, because I show a bit of bloody consideration for my neighbours
Honestly, that flat is the only rented one in the block and the hassles from there with various tenants over the past few years has been enough to make me want to move. I love where I stay, my flat is just about perfect in a nice bit of town, but every single tenant that has been put in there (bar one who was a nice guy) has been hassle. Tie in a landlord that doesn't give a damn (and only puts in tenants who he employs in his business) and it's unlikely that he'll chuck them out. We had to go down the whole ASBO route with the junkies he put in there before (who did a runner when they were being chased by the Police  ). Seriously, I could get a 4 bed detached house outside Edinburgh for the same price as I'm paying here (or less) and the repititious playing of the Song of the Italians is driving me barking. Could be worse I suppose - the wee lassie who lived here when I first moved in, used to play Celine Dion's Titanic song over and over again when she split with her boyfriend  "My heart will go ooooooooonnnn" I used to have nightmares about icebergs hitting my bed.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

When I was in uni, there was a girl who would put "One of us" by Joan Osbourne on full blast, lock her door and go out. Funny how you can go off a decent song quickly. When that song is "My Heart Will Go On", you don't even have the benefit of a free listen to a decent song before you're driven into the depths of hell!
Started reading "Nation" by Terry Pratchett tonight. I'm a bbig fan of his, but I really think (at this point - about page 70) that he's outdone himself this time. Superb stuff!Virtual sealed pot challenge #036 - 19/01/09-1/12/09 = £483.71/£750

Dear god, it boogles the mind how a woman could watch her child get to that state and think she is 'loving' him. His body is covered in sores, bruised, batter. He smells. And she fed him. It is making me pyhsically ill.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
