Evening courses and voluntary work, i know that feeling!! Thats why i am so glad i don't have to go anywhere this weekend, makes a nice change when you get to stay in the house!

Hope you have a great time whilst you are away and enjoy your birthday.

    Hi

Off to Egypt - sun!!!!!! I bet we have nice weather here while we are away - just look at the sunshine.

BF and I agreed that we wouldn't go mad and do everything and buy everything we like. We only clutter up the flat!

Oh well - better get moving or it'll never get done!

  • Beautiful sunny day here, and I am wearing my blue sparkly socks to celebrate. Off to work in a bit which is of course the most DFW thing I can do- it also means that a NSD on a Saturday is achievable.

    -Done daily scratchies-20p+25p
-Storecupboard breakfast, packed lunch and storecupboard tea
    -NSD
-Check for MS- lost one to another shopper just as I was signing up for it!
    -Check onepoll for surveys
-Do one more Dooyoo review to reach my second £10 Amazon voucher!

That's it for me- have a great weekend everyone.

Morning all. Still sat here in my pyjamas so must get motivated, get dressed and get on with all of the cleaning I have to do today! OH has gone off hill walking so have place to myself ..... will get some music on and get on with being energetic ..... in a minute!

    Today I need to;
    • Hoover and polish the whole house.
    • Clean both bathrooms.
    • Hang washing outside to dry ... lovely and sunny here with a breeze - done
    • Menu plan for next week.
    • Check Tesco.com to see if they have any free delivery codes anywhere.
    • Not go into town as don't need anything - NSD!!!
    • Make a cake to take to friends who are feeding us tonight.
    • Polish shoes for work and school - they really need doing as it's quite muddy here.
    • Transfer some money into savings to cover car tax and service in March.
    • Update spreadsheets - done.
    • Put recycling stuff out for bin men.
    • Do some ironing (if there is anything on tv to watch later).
    • Clean out fridge.
    • Do freezer and storecupboard check to see what we need.
Well better get dressed now .... how lazy am I!

    Lewby xx

Ps Got a great balance transfer LOB 5.9% rate from Amazon CC today - just phoned up and asked and they said yes. Never tried it before but worth a try phoning your existing cards to ask if anyone else needs a better rate. Thanks Martin!!

  • morning all :hello:
    yay, the sun's come out!
    Busy day for me today...
    • eating from storecupboard (just had dippy eggs for breakfast as needed to use them up - how good are dippy eggs?!?)
    • checked my banking and two people that owe me money have paid me (for holiday booked through quidco :D)
    • I have used a #5 bet on betfair that gets refunded if I lose but I get #49 if i win (cross everything!!)
    And I will
    • go and buy 2 x work presents of vouchers that people have paid me for - no way of getting baby GAP or John Lewis vouchers with any cashback or anything I guess
    • collect my dry cleaning
    • do some washing on 30 and dry inside whilst I'm out voucher shopping!
    • meal plan for my lovely abel and cole box that came yday
    • read a book that my pal lent me
    • buy some visitor parking permits for outside the flat  not very DFW but it's #5 a day or #2.50 an hour if you pay and display... you need to buy them in advance and you can't exactly charge houseguests for them! :rotfl:
    • go to a houseparty and take our own booze
    • not go to the football :( even though my team only play in London twice a year :(:(:(
    have a lovely Saturday
    Claire
