as long as you select the right options during install, nero and roxio can work together fine since - certainly the recent versions can. I have roxio 7.5 and nero 6 ultra working fine together.

I Have Managed To Delete It Everywhere Except The Add/remove Programmes.i Just Get This Message "fatal Error During Installation"
Every Time I Go Into My Computer And To The Local Disk C I Get The Message "please Wait While Windows Configures Roxio Media Creator 7" Then Another Saying "unable To Find Certificate File" Then Another Saying "could Not Open Blah Blah Blah" .please Please Can Anyone Help

The drivers for the dvd/cdrw are generic for windows xp ( i think most other versions too),

Have you tried uninstalling the drive through device manager ( right click on it and select uninstall), next time when you start windows it should auto detect it and hey presto - non corrupted drivers - hopefully.

i already got the cd/dvd drive sorted.i just can't get roxio out the add/remove programmes. it keeps trying to reinstall and then errors come up no matter what i'm doing.it's driving me craaaaaazy

managed to finally get roxio 8 installed.however roxio 7 keeps popping up trying to install with all the usual error messages.please please is it possible to get rid of this once and for all.
