Right. I've been on to ethical s/store.com and they've got 25 litres @ £34.95, also free delivery and I've found a voucher for £6 off. So that's £28.95 for 25 litres, delivered. That seems like a good price to me.0

Well, I've been using my Bio D washing up liquid for about a week now, and I have to say I think it's very good. Much prefer it to Ecover, I think it's kinder to my skin and there's hardly any smell with it so that's a bonus too.
Only thing is I didn't quite realise how large a 25 litre drum would be:eek:
Never mind, I decanted some into smaller bottles and the drum is sitting on the kitchen floor waiting to be moved into the garage. Might gift wrap some and give it as presents......:rotfl:0 -
Its great!! love it and it lasts longer than the chemical ones and I add some essential oil to it for scent. I buy mine from www.thegreenmonkeystore.com and its £1.94 bargain!!!.:j0

Do you get a lot of bubbles/ cleaning power? Mr. Fire Fox sulks cos I won't let him buy Fairy, and I can't honestly say the Tesco eco-copy or Ecover washing up liquid cuts through grease very well.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Cleaning power is very good, you have to change your expection of what it is supposed to do as other brands add foaming agents because that is what we expect of a washing up liquid try it...:T0

I agree with markiemarc. The cleaning action is different! We are used to 'normal" washing up liquid that cut's through the grease. Natural WUL doesn't contain foaming agents to do this job but relies on natural ingredients to combat grease. The other aspect is perfume. We get used to clean meaning perfumed. Obv with natural WUL this isn't the case. They are not perfumed with chemicals so although just as clean- don't smell clean in the same way. It takes a while to get used to but after a while, if you try using fairy it feels really thick, gloopy and horrible! Just use a bit of elbow grease and they come out just as clean!0

Bio-D Washing Up Liquid contains a dangerous ingredient, when you visit the Bio-D website the ingredients listed for the product don't include all ingredients, the same for all descriptions i found on internet. The main Bio-D site has pdf's of all product ingredients and the one left out of all other ingredient descriptions is:
Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate
This is very bad and no wonder they left it off the other descriptions it can cause skin irritation and many other things, found this on one webstie:
Sodium lauryl sulfate is used throughout the world for clinical testing as a primary skin irritant. Laboratories use it to irritate skin on test animals and humans so that they may then test healing agents to see how effective they are on the irritated skin.
May cause hair loss by attacking the follicle. Classified as a drug in bubble baths because it eats away skin protection and causes rashes and infection to occur.
Is potentially harmful to skin and hair. Cleans by corrosion. Dries skin by stripping the protective lipids from the surface so it can't effectively regulate moisture.Another extremely serious problem is the connection of SLS with nitrate contamination. SLS reacts with many types of ingredients used in skin products and forms nitrosomines (nitrates). Nitrates are potential cancer-causing carcinogenics.Sorry everyone but it looks like this product isn't as GREEN as it claims to be...................................................Just checked Ecover and it includes this ingredient also.Does anyone know of a SAFE washing-up liquid product on the market??? please.........

I think you are over reacting here, and the victim of over stating web sites.
Yes, this CAN cause skin irritation, if you apply it in a high enough concentration. but in normal cleaning products it does not cause skin irritation.
Think about it, it's in many products including your washing up liquid and bubble bath, but how many times have you suffered skin irritation after washing the dishes?
You are mistaking the word "can" for "will". Most things on this earth will harm you if you get enough of them, but you don't usually get enough, so they don't harm you.
Never believe a web site that tells you something "can" or "may" harm you, unless it states how much of it will harm you. Take medicines, to little won't do you any good, just the right amount can save your life, but too much can just as easily kill you.0 -
