Use it all the time! LOVE it! It is great value for money! £2 for a litre at https://www.earthlets.co.uk
Have you used it yet?0 -
Hi Miss Yell. Thanks for the recommendation. I've used Ecover for ages and wondered what the comparison would be like.0

I have to say, I have used both and prefer the Bio-D anyday. I find I get a cleaner wash and its less hard work with Bio-D. It sounds cheesy doesn't it, to talk washing Up liquid like this! But I can honestly say I feel that the cleaning power of Bio-D seems to last longer than Ecover. I find after a few dishes Ecover seems to give up, but I don't get that with Bio-D. It has quite a nice but very gentle coconut smell to it. BioD does seem to have excellent green credentials too!
If you try it let me know how you get on.
Have you found somewhere good to buy it?0 -
It's quite good, I liked it. It's pricey but a little goes a long way
I buy mine from Entrading in Glasgow. Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice.

Oxfam sell Bio D as does a local health food store.0

I don't think £2 for a liter is to expensive really.
It does seem to last ages as well.0 -
do they sell the refillable bottles like ecover do?
we are about to start using the wigglywigglers Recover scheme where you buy a 5L bottle and post it back when you run out for it to be refilled (they will send out the refil before you send back the empty) but if Bio D do something similar I might invesitgate their products as well0 -
I use it, its fab, gorgeous lemony smell and it works. I get it from the local cooperative in Manchester its £1.62. They do big 5ltr bottles of it too which I think are about £7. The only complaint I have it that it doesn't seem too kind on my nails but I guess its easily remedied by using rubber gloves! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0

I've emailed Bio D to see if I've got a local stockist. Until I hear back it seems my nearest one is about 40 miles away:eek:0

I have just ordered a load of cleaning products from the online store Natural Collection, and got cashback and free delivery. They stock the Bio D range, and also their own brand toilet roll which both got a high ethical score

I figured if I ordered in bulk it would limit the packaging, and I will recycle wherever possible. Got to be better to recycle one 5 litre container than all the 750ml/ 1 litre bottles I get through!Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
