Orlando Villa within walking distance of nightlife

Anyone recommend a villa the same distnace away from each of Disney, Universal and Sea World? So we are never more than 15mins drive from any of them? from our villa Also, no more than 20mins drive to Orlando's International airport from the villa?

I know I am asking alot but I might as well ask for my ideal spot and see if anyone gets close!

I'm afraid you will struggle to find a villa close to any of the parks, with the exception of a handful in Kissimmee which are close to Disney's southern border. The simple reason is only Osceola, Polk and Lake Counties allow short-term (i.e. for holiday purposes) rentals, and these counties are all to the south of Orabnge County (where Orlando and most of Disney is located). If you look for a villa in the Formosa Gardens area of Kissimmee or Old Lake Wilson Road, there are a number of neat communities only 5-10 mins from the southern edge of Disney property (which is 47 square miles, to put it in perspective!).

All the other parks are to the north of Disney, hence further from the villa areas. It will also be about 20-30 mins from the airport, but the driving is pretty easy here.

If it's location near to the parks you want, you would be better off booking to stay on I-drive. You wont get the facilities of a villa, but you will be closer to everything. Wherever you stay, Orlando airport will be 30mins drive away at least and Sanford up to an hour.

Best you will get is an apartment complex. You could try Lake Buena Vista near the outlets on SR535 which are first class or the apartments at the back of the outlets off I4 (Premium, outlets i think they are)

Aparment blocks are irst class, my friend stayed their last year and the were like private villas within a block with a shared pool. If you aint worried about the pools they are ideal. Buena Vista Apartments are 10 mins from Sea World, 15 mins from Disney and 20 mins from the top of I Drive. A really first class location.

I have found a villa near Bass Lake but seems too good to be true! The quote for 12 nights in September was £560 all in. Going by google maps, Bass Lake is north of Internaltional Airport and is the following distances away ...

10miles from Universal Studios
20miles from Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Park (east side of Disney World I think)
15miles from Seaworld
15miles from the middlw of International drive

The villa itself seems to have everthing any other villa has except for a shared pool.

Can anybody enlighten me as to why this is so cheap?? Anything dodgy about it??

It isn't really that cheap...we're paying £300 a week for a 5 bedroom with private pool, I'd say it was about right.

Be very careful with this. Bass Lake (the water) and Bass Lake (the property development) may not be next to each other! Some villas are on the lake side but Bass Lake Estates is south of Highway 192 which is the main road through Kissimmee and very definitely south of the airport. Even the website you refer to has 2 Bass Lake developments on it.

I stayed for work at the Vistana Villages complex. I read up on Trip advisor for the best place to stay, we were not disappointed.

I usually holiday in Dubai at a very expensive hotel, this apartment inside was every bit as good if not better than Dubai. My bedroom had double doors off into my own private bathroom and dressing area, as big as the wohole top floor of my house! Then through that bathroom there was the shower room.

My work colleague had the same, but I got the posh jacuzzi bathroom.

You have to drive every where, Orlando is not set up for walking.
