Countdown to My Court Date

Just thought Id start a countdown myself. Cant promise that it will be interesting but it might help keep my sanity for the next 4 weeks.

Well so far towards my court fees I think I have £15 saved. That'll go a long way, but im determined to do it and start again.

    Hi haley,

I think it's a great idea. There are a few threads that I follow all the time - Jan Club, ym's countdown etc and it is really handy keeping up to date if you know where people are posting!!
I have logged on this morning after an evening off and there are two pages of threads to wade through....
At least I know where to look to keep up with my faves!
Good luck with the saving... ;)

Countdowns also make for a good diary so you can see what you did along the way and also take your mind of things for a while and well done for budgeting as that will help you post BR.

hi haleygrey my husband is also on a countdown not been given definate date yet been told to expect 4 weeks, we owe an awfully frightening amount due to work drying up in his construction firm, we are in the stages of working out how to keep dd payments going for essentials like mortgage, household utility bills etc, and wondering whats gonna happen to car on hp in his name. we are also finding it difficult knowing what to tell people like close friends and family, don't want to worry them to much but they know something is up.
Big Thanks to all who post on the comps board

Hi, have managed to put aside a bit more towards the court fees, so now have the grand total of £121.:T

Get paid and child benefit and another lot of tax credits before the BIG day so am trying to put budget strictly and put aside a bit each week.:j

In case nobody is aware, to add to my troubles i was told on Friday that my job will finish somewhere between June and August as its being sent to Thailand (minus me of course, as im far too expensive) to be done on the cheap. So thats what they mean by 'every little helps'.

    Oops bit sarky there!:p
