Savings account for Power of Attorney

Hi
Has anyone any recommendations for a good savings account that can be operated for my mum under Power of Attorney (it seems many can't)?
There would be around £60k in total which could be tied up for a shortish term - say c. 3 months - but not longer in case needed.
Many thanks!

All accounts should be able to operate under power of attorney, as all its effectively saying is that you have the authority to handle your mother's affairs on her behalf, so shouldn't really be different from her opening an account herself.
My aunty managed my grandmother's finances with a wide variety of different banks/building society accounts opened over the years.0 -

The majority can but, as Sloughflint says, not always well.
The best bet is to choose the best (OK, least bad at the moment!) interest rates and ring two or three to find out the situation.0
